1 (165) THE ONTARIO PLATE

Shengli
 At the start, SHENGLI (Sameer Qureshi) jumped out awkwardly. Jockey Sameer Qureshi (SHENGLI) was severely reprimanded for not riding as per the instructions which were to go to the front or be in 2nd or 3rd and the Jockey was observed to have eased up his mount after an awkward jump and was content with positioning his mount a few lengths behind the field which was contrary to the running pattern of the horse.
Master Faderer
 After the race, MASTER FADERER had a cardiac attack and died.
Stardom Calling
 Approaching 200 metres, STARDOM CALLING (Dhanu Singh Deora) hung out abruptly and briefly. Trainer Magan Singh has been asked to take remedial measures before accepting with it again.
Ashwa Saanga
 After the race, ASHWA SAANGA broke a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of eight weeks (2nd time). Trainer I S Parmar has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

 At the start, HOT BLOOD (Sandeep Rajput) reared up and lost ground.
Miss Universe
 The saddle on MISS UNIVERSE (Akash Rajput) slipped forward during the race. Trainer Rajinder has been fined Rs.2000/.(1st offence during the meeting).
King And Country
 Jockey Ranjeet Singh confirmed the Instructions and added that he was tracking the favourite, KING AND COUNTRY, till about 700 metres and at that stage, his mount shifted out which he corrected and he was also aware of saddle slip on MISS UNIVERSE who was racing in front. He added that he was still tracking the favourite and thereafter he has done his best. To another query, the Jockey explained that he was caught wide and could have broken the stride of his mount to bring him along the rails. He added that he had done the right thing and was still tracking the favourite.
Trustfull Girl
 Approaching 1000 metres, TRUSTFULL GIRL (R Parvesh) was eased off the heels of KING AND COUNTRY (Arman Ali Jafri) and shifted out. After the race, TRUSTFULL GIRL was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of four weeks (1st time). Trainer S M Abbas has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
Master Frankel
 Jockey Ranjeet Singh (MASTER FRANKEL) has been cautioned for travelling wide while negotiating the bend. Trainer Irfan Ali and Jockey Ranjeet Singh were questioned regarding the running and riding of MASTER FRANKEL. The Trainer explained that he had instructed to be in 3rd, 4th or 5th position, get into a better position and to do his best in straight. The Trainer observed that MASTER FRANKEL travelled wide from 600 metres for no reason and in the straight the Jockey had bumped into the saddle and he opined that if the Jockey had not done these two things, then his charge could have run better.

Gallop Away
 Near 700 metres, GALLOP AWAY (M I Qureshi) was inconvenienced while racing on the inside of SACHARINES (M Shahid).
Royal Grey
 At the start, ROYAL GREY (S Lalit) had its head high and did not raise an effective gallop. Trainer Ajay Sharma and Jockey S Lalit were questioned regarding the running and riding of ROYAL GREY. The Jockey stated that he was instructed to be in 4th or 5th position and to do his best in the straight. The Jockey added that the gelding was not responding to his urgings and was tired and had changed legs during the race. He further stated that the gelding is a problematic horse. To a query, he stated that he had worked the gelding. He added that the gelding had dropped its bit near 800 metres. Trainer stated that the horse is problematic horse as it has joint problem and has been treated for the same with injections. To a query he stated that the horse has worked well and the horse was racing in its genuine distance. And therefore, he was confident that the gelding would be able to handle this set.Trainer Ajay Sharma was informed that the future performance of his charge would be closely monitored.
Shane Punjab
 At the start, SHANE PUNJAB (Shaliyar Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Sea Cliff
 At the start, SEA CLIFF (K Narendra Kumar) was sluggish.
Solid Gold
 At the start, SOLID GOLD (Praveen Saini) was slowly away and then ducked out outwards and jostled with SEA CLIFF (K Narendra Kumar).

4 (168) THE RAFAH PLATE (DIV-I)

Al Azeem
 At the start, AL AZEEM (Mohanlal) jumped outwards and made contact with PREVISE (Dhanu S Deora).
Lady
 Trainer Ajay Sharma and Jockey S Lalit were questioned regarding the running and riding of LADY. The Jockey explained that his instructions were to go to the front or be in 2nd or 3rd position. The Jockey added that coming into the straight and he had no room and had to drop his mount out and then shifted outwards and then rode out. He felt that the mare had tired towards the end. Trainer confirmed the instructions and added that LADY was pocketed in the straight and he was satisfied with the Jockey’s riding. Their explanations were noted.
Tot O Whiskey
 TOT O WHISKEY (Md. Asif Khan) was reluctant to proceed to the Starting Gates which delayed the start of the race, as such, Trainer Zulfiqar Khan has been asked to ensure that his charge reaches the Starting Gates in time. Soon after the start, TOT O WHISKEY (Md. Asif Khan) shifted inwards due to which PREVISE (Dhanu S Deora) shifted in forcing AL AZEEM (Mohanlal) inwards who was awkwardly placed behind the heels of MISTER BEST (R Rakesh) and steadied. Shortly afterwards, MISTER BEST shifted outwards due to lack of room and caused PREVISE to shift out onto TOT O WHISKEY.

5 (169) THE RAFAH PLATE (DIV-II)

 At the start, ARTAXIAS (Md Asif Khan) stumbled. Due to the stumble, Jockey Narain Singh (MIDLEXES) took evasive action and steadied his mount.
Master Vanperise
 Jockey Mohd Asif (MASTER VANPERISE) reported the loss of the whip near 300 meters. (1st offence).
Beautiful Evening
 Jockeys R Yousaf (BEAUTIFUL EVENING), Jai Parkash (DESERT OF GOLD), Sameer Qureshi (AL SAHAIL), Muzammil Hashmi (BOLD OPINION) and Narain Singh (MIDLEXESS) have been cautioned for riding out their respective mount in the early part of the race. Jockey R Yousaf (BEAUTIFUL EVENING) has also been cautioned for travelling wide through out the race.
Huracan
 At the start, HURACAN (R Rakesh) threw its head up and was slowly away.

6 (170) THE GOOD STIPING PLATE (DIV-II)

Roopmantra
 Jockey Md Asif Khan (ROOPMANTRA) has been fined Rs.5000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (2nd offence during the meeting). The veterinary examination of ROOPMANTRA & ASHWA AGGASI by the Club’s Veterinary Officer did not reveal any abnormality.
Oxford Princess
 Jockey Muzammil Hashmi (OXFORD PRINCESS), when questioned explained that he has travelled wide to avoid the kickback. Whilst considering his explanation, he has been cautioned for travelling wide while negotiating the bend.
