1 (62) THE JUJUBE HANDICAP

OptimumJockey Mohit Singh, the rider of OPTIMUM, was reprimanded for failing to exercise adequate control over his mount during the final 400 metres of the race in that he allowed his mount to shift ‘in’ and ‘out’ when placing it under pressure.
Knights GambitKNIGHT’S GAMBIT (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) and FENICIA (App Aditya Kr. Jaiswal) were slow to begin. As the gelding and the filly had behaved in a similar manner earlier Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
Looking GoodLOOKING GOOD (App R S Bhati) finished the race detached from the field. Tr. R W Alford was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any and not to accept with the mare until it was capable of a better performance. Subsequent examinations by the Veterinary Officer after the race and the following day revealed that the mare was trotting sound and no ailment was noticed.

2 (63) THE TWO IN ONE HANDICAP

Sheer ForceThe Veterinary Officer reported that SHEER FORCE and MILLENIUM GLORY returned with cut injury on left hinds
Millenium GloryApproaching the 900 metres MILLENIUM GLORY (Hindu Singh) travelling behind SHEER FORCE (App P Tejeshwar) was shifted outwards to avoid running on to the heels of the latter. In this incident ASHNA (App Hasib Alam) travelling on the outside of MILLENIUM GLORY was carried further outwards into the path of BEATLES BIBLE (Satish Nayak) which had to be severely checked by its rider. As the incident was accidental no further action was taken.
NextstarNEXTSTAR (Md Imran) lost considerable ground at the start. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

3 (64) THE STAY IN SHAPE PLATE

Girl With DreamsGIRL WITH DREAMS (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) which was extremely fractious while being stalled planted and did not complete the course. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.
Swanlitegr f SWANLITE (Neeraj Rawal) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
HukumatPassing the 600 metres marker HUKUMAT (Nikhil Naidu) was inconvenienced when ABENAKI (Jockey Hindu Singh) shifted ‘outwards’ for no apparent reason and soon after SHARAVATI (Jockey C Alford) travelling along the rails had to be checked by its rider when ABENAKI then shifted ‘inwards’. At a subsequent enquiry, Jockeys Hindu Singh, C Alford and Nikhil Naidu were interviewed and Jockey Hindu Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for repeatedly changing course for no apparent reason.
PopcornPOPCORN (App R S Bhati) was fractious while being stalled. Tr. Aashay Doctor was advised to give his charge adequate practice before accepting with the colt again.

4 (65) THE STATE TREASURE HANDICAP

ArashiApp R S Bhati, the rider of ARASHI, when given an opportunity to explain the running/riding of his mount stated that he was instructed to place his mount at the head of the field failing which he was to be in a forward position and these instructions were also received by him in the previous run of the mare. However, he was unable to follow instructions as the mare lacked early speed and soon after he was denied a clear run, hence, he was badly positioned at the rear of the field. The Stipendiary Stewards after scrutinising his efforts on the CCTV replay of the race were of the opinion that the apprentice failed to make adequate attempt to follow his instructions and informed him that his riding will be closely monitored in future.

5 (66) THE VASTO HANDICAP

Celerinob g CELERINO, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on 2nd September, 2019 and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Farley Rodrigues was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
ArchivoltThe Veterinary Officer reported that ARCHIVOLT returned with a cut injury on right hind.
Gimme CreditGIMME CREDIT (Mudassar Nazar), SCORPION QUEEN (App Rupal Singh) and BUDDYHOLLY (Asghar) were slow to begin.
