Al ShamsheerAL SHAMSHEER (App. S. A. Amit) jumped out slow losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Saffron FlowerSAFFRON FLOWER (App. S. A. Amit) jumped out throwing its head thereby losing about 2 lengths at the start.
NextstarSoon after the start, NEXTSTAR (P. S. Chouhan) shifted out and made contact with GNOSTIC EYES (N. S. Parmar). Thereafter, Jockey P. S. Chouhan was observed to have lost his stirrup thereby unbalancing himself due to which his mount shifted in and went across SAFFRON FLOWER (App. S. A. Amit) who was slow to begin. Jockey P. S. Chouhan regained his stirrups in a couple of strides.
MoiraPassing 900 metres, MOIRA (S. J. Sunil) shifted in thereby inconveniencing NEXTSTART (P. S. Chouhan). Approaching 100 metres, Jockey S. J. Sunil (MOIRA) who was racing on the haunches of NEXTSTAR (P. S. Chouhan) had to check his mount and change course in order to avoid clipping the heels of the front runner.

3 (98) THE SPARK OF GOLD PLATE (DIV-II)

VitesseVITESSE (App. N. Nadeem, dr.7) shifted in before passing the Red Marker thereby tightening HUNAYN (T. S. Jodha) who had to be checked. App. N. Nadeem has been fined Rs.2,000/.
Forever FreeAfter the race, FOREVER FREE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. Also, the filly had a cut injury at the right hind fetlock. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V. O. before next accepting to race.
HunaynAfter the race, HUNAYN and REPLICA (examined on 10/09/2017) were trotted and found to be sound. HUNAYN had a gum injury.

ExodusAt the start, EXODUS (P. S. Chouhan, dr. 4) jumped outwards and went across REMEMBER ME (App. S. A. Amit, dr. 5) who was slow to begin.
Ship RockAfter the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (SHIP ROCK) reported that his mount hungin in the final stages of the race due to which his foot brushed against the railing and he was unable to ride out.
Phenomenal MemoryThe Equine Hospital reported that PHENOMENAL MEMORY had left eye injury (mild ulcer).
Remember MeREMEMBER ME (App. S. A. Amit) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start.

5 (100) THE ASCOT LASS PLATE

SandalphonAt the request of Trainer Himmat Singh, SANDALPHON was examined at 0830 hours on 09/09/2017 and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
AuburnIn the process of stalling, AUBURN (N. S. Parmar) brushed the rear gates whereby the saddle girth got unbuckled. Since the equipment was left unserviceable, it was replaced by the Club’s gear and thereafter the filly was examined by the Club’s Sr. V. O. who certified her fit to race.
Ice DancerApproaching 500 metres, ICE DANCER (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in thereby tightening IN IT TO WIN IT (A. Imran Khan) who in turn shifted in and brushed the haunches of AUBURN (N. S. Parmar). Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been fined Rs.3,000/.
In It To Win ItApproaching 1000 metres, IN IT TO WIN IT (A. Imran Khan) shifted out and carried ICE DANCER (P. S. Chouhan) outwards. Jockey A. Imran Khan has been fined Rs.2,000/.

Apple BettyAPPLE BETTY (App. S. Jaykumar) planted in the stall and took no part in race. In view of the above and the filly’s similar behavior in her previous start, Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race before next accepting to race.
Golden WeaverPassing 300 metres, GOLDEN WEAVER (J. Pradeep) shifted in on to ANNIVERSARY GIRL (A. Imran Khan) who in turn shifted in and brushed the rails and had to be steadied.
Angel Of LoveThe Equine Hospital reported that ANGEL OF LOVE had right eye injury (lacrimation – no opacity).
AbbeyroadABBEYROAD (S. J. Sunil) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start.
Oslo CourtSoon after the start, OSLO COURT (Bhawani Singh) was observed to be fighting for its head and dropped back. The Sr. V.O. reported that OSLO COURT was examined at the stables in the morning on 10/09/2017 and found to be sound in the trot.

8 (103) THE PUNE CANTONMENT BOARD TROPHY (DIV-I)

ZabiscoAt the request of Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi, ZABISCO was examined at 0940 hours on 09/09/2017 and was found to have a swelling on the right fore fetlock. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with him to race.
Knight's QuestAfter the race, KNIGHT’S QUEST was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
ElsaAt the start, ELSA (T. S. Jodha) failed to raise an effective gallop. Since the mare had behaved in a similar manner in her last start, Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to take remedial measures and show the mare in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.

Snow BlastThe Sr. V.O. reported that at the request of Trainer Altaf Hussain, SNOW BLAST was checked at the Saddling Enclosure and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race and withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Rain DancePassing 400 metres, RAIN DANCE (App. S. A. Amit) shifted out and made contact with SWEEP ASIDE (Yash Narredu).
IsinitAt the request of Jockey Amyn Merchant, the saddle on his mount ISINIT was adjusted at the starting gate. ISINIT (Amyn Merchant) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start. TIP TOP TAFFY (App. D. R. Shubham) took a fly jump.
