Euro ZoneTrainer K. Satheesh was questioned with regard to improved performance of his charge EURO ZONE (Nakhat Singh) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous races to which the Trainer stated that his charge has not ran to its potential in the previous races, as such he took permission to remove Tongue Strap and Cross Nose Band, the equipments used on his charge and also instructed the Jockey to go to front and do his best in the straight, which has been to his charges advantage and the gelding went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that he has not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds, was noted. The Trainer was however fined Rs. 5,000/ for the inconsistent running of his charge.
Treasure StrikerConsequent to Jockeys Y.S. Srinath and J. Chinoy not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockeys Kuldeep Singh in place of Y.S. Srinath on EXCLUSIVE STRIKER and Jockey Akshay Kumar in place of Jockey J. Chinoy on AIR STRIKE.
BayrdExplanation of Jockey Fergus Sweeney (BAYRD) in the presence of Trainer D. Netto that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow in the initial stages of the race and thereafter his mount started dropping back from about the 800 mtrs inspite of his best efforts and the gelding did not raise a winning gallop in the straight. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge had a set back after the last run in Race No. 169 during Hyderabad Monsoon Races as such he has given a long layoff of more than two months to his charge and ran in the present race. The Trainer further added that he too was baffled with the run and has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges poor performance, was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding sustained superficial injury over right hind. However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
Vijay's EmpireExplanation of Jockey S.S. Tanwar (VIJAY’S EMPIRE) that his instructions were to go to front but due to fast initial pace, he was unable to go to front in the initial stages of the race and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts, was noted for future reference.
Exclusive StrikerExplanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (EXCLUSIVE STRIKER) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted.

Undu Undu UnduExplanation of Jockey Aneel (UNDU UNDU UNDU) that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts and in the process of controlling his mount from shifting in, his whip slipped out of his hand accidentally at about the 250 mtrs was noted. The Jockey was however, cautioned to be more careful in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action.
RapidestJockey Abhishek S. Pawar (RAPIDEST) was severely reprimanded for drifting out in the final stages of the race under the use of whip whilst travelling on the rails for no apparent reason.
Delta ForceDELTA FORCE (Nakhat Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 3 or 4 lengths, SSC revoked.
Commanding BoyJockey Kunal Bunde (COMMANDING BOY) was cautioned for shifting in at about the 700 mtrs in the process taking the ground of RUBYONRAILS (Akshay Kumar).

Ta TaExplanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (TA TA) that he accidently touched the whip of Jockey Aneel (BULLLISH APPROACH) with his whip whilst he was riding in close proximity at about the 200 mtrs was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 3,000/ and also cautioned to be more careful in future.
Bullish ApproachAn objection lodged by Jockey Aneel (BULLISH APPROACH) placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey Akshay Kumar (TA TA) winner that" when I was using my whip, he hit my whip and on my arm at about the 250 mtrs due to which I dropped my whip and kept on drifting me out, that cost me a certain race" was overruled by the Stewards and the Judges placings remained unchanged.
SilvassaSILVASSA (P. Ajeeth Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainer Sk. Kassam was advised for a better performance in future.
