Gizbar	GIZBAR (Rajendra Singh) bolted rider less from behind the starting gates and ran around the course. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
Expensive Affair	Passing the distance post EXPENSIVE AFFAIR (B Mahesh), ROMANTIC ZEAL (C Alford) were inconvenienced when GENERAL DUFF (Ranidan Singh) shifted ‘outwards’. At a subsequent enquiry it was established that GENERAL DUFF had been bumped by FIRE OPAL (Hindu Singh) which was making very quick progress in the middle of the field. Jockey Hindu was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to keep his mount on a straight path.
Monitor	Jockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of ROMANOFF (drawn 8), was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for coming ‘in’ sharply soon after the start and causing inconvenience to the runners on his inside, the chief sufferer being SNOW FIELDS (Anil Baandal, drawn 5).
General Duff	Jockey Ranidan Singh, the rider of GENERAL DUFF, reported loss of whip passing the 100 metres.
Boss	BOSS (Afzal Khan) and SNOW FIELDS (Anil Baandal) finished race detached from the field. Trs. Manvendra Singh and R W Alford were advised not to accept with their respective charges until they were capable of a better performance.
Gabon	b f GABON (Russell Xaviers) which was extremely fractious while being stalled was slow to begin and thereafter finished the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work and till it was capable of a better performance.

Rustler	As Tr. James Mckeown was unable to find a suitable substitution for Jockey Dashrath Singh, b g RUSTLER was permitted to be withdrawn.
Iconia	The Veterinary Officer reported that ICONIA returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
