Touchwood

It was observed that the shadow band on TOUCHWOOD(P. Mani) loosened soon after the start and apparently fell off passing the 350 Metres. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence.

2	(56)	THE KRANJI PLATE (DIV-II) A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 20 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1400M

Shivalik Show	SHIVALIK SHOW(Suraj Narredu) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Able Master	It was observed that ABLE MASTER(N. B. Kuldeep) had to shift out to avoid striking the front runner MIMING(M. Ravi), there by taking out TURF PROSPECTOR(Prashant P. Dhebe) on its out side passing the 550 Metres.
Miming	MIMING(M.Ravi) was slowly awayand lost few lengths at the start. Inview of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day. MIMING(M. Ravi) ran detached after rounding the final bend. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr.Prithviraj B. was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Lovely Sierra	Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of LOVELY SIERRA reported that his mount was trying to run out after entering the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Unbroken	UNBROKEN(Prashant P. Dhebe)was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported
Galvarino	Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of GALVARINO was fined Rs.1,000/ for coming `in` and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz; UNBROKEN(Prashant P. Dhebe) and ANAKIN (A. Ramu) soon after the start.
Desert Gold	DESERT GOLD(S. Mubarak) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. Inview of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Dheeraj.V was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jumpout on a starting gate practice day.

Castaway	Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of CASTAWAY was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race(1st infringement).
Angels Kiss	ANGELS KISS(Mudassar Nazar) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced WARHERO (Prashant P. Dhebe) soon after the start.
War Hero	WAR HERO(Prashant P. Dhebe) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced VICTORY PARADE(P. Trevor) soon after the start.
Alpha	ALPHA(Nikhil Naidu) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Attorney General	Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.1,000/ for failing to produce the declared colors at the scales in respect of his charge ATTORNEY GENERAL. Subsequently All Black emergency colors were permitted to be used.
Cadillac	CADILLAC(A. Sandesh) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6	(60)	THE LUMBINI STUD PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 30 TO 50 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1600M

Lycurgus	Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala and Jockey P. S. Chouhan were questioned regarding running and riding of LYCURGUS. Especially with specific reference to the use of whip by the Jockey in the final 200 Metres. The trainer instructed the Jockey to whip the horse only when it was necessary. The Jockey followed the instructions of the trainer and whipped the horse only twice. As the horse was finishing on strongly in the end, the Trainer and Jockey were severely reprimanded for such practice of giving instructions and riding out the horse.
Amazing Skill	AMAZING SKILL(Yash Narredu) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Back Of Beyond	BACK OF BEYOND(Koushik. P) took a fly jump.

South Bell	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw SOUTH BELL on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind and also sustained injuries on right hind cannon. He ws informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before acceptiang with it again.
Shivalik Kiss	Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was fined Rs.5,000/ for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge SHIVALIK KISS(1st infringement).
Scarlet Princess	Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SCARLET PRINCESS was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in` and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz; FIND(S.John) and GREAT CELEBRATION (Amyn Merchant) soon after the start. SCARLET PRINCESS(Irvan Singh) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Habanero

It was reported after the race that HABANERO(K. Raja Rao) had apparently lost its left fore shoe during the race. HABANERO(K.Raja Rao) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.An enquiry was held on 1762019 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the interference caused by Jockey K. Raja Rao on his mount HABANERO in that he shifted ‘in’ sharply under the use of whip and caused interference to REVAN STAR (Chetan Kalay. S) on his inside along the rails approaching 250 Metres and there after he did not maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race. Jockey K. Raja Rao was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey K. Raja Rao and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race charged Jockey K. Raja Rao for careless riding for contravention of Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stipendiary Stewards the reafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to K. Raja Rao with effect from 2762019 to 3062019(both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount HABANERO(he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
