Wizard Of StocksThere was a dual declaration of Jockey Akshay Kumar by Trainer P.Shroff on WIZARD OF STOCKS and by Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait on JUSTIFIED. On questioning, Jockey Akshay Kumar said that he had confirmed the ride with Tr.P.Shroff. As such, Trainer P.Shroff was permitted to declare Jockey Akshay Kumar on WIZARD OF STOCKS and Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait declared Jockey Neeraj Rawal on JUSTIFIED. In this connection, Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been fined Rs.1,000/ for declarding a Jockey without confirming the ride.
ArrowfieldThe Equine Hospital reported that ARROWFIELD and WIZARD OF STOCKS had right eye injury (sore eye).
GoshawkGOSHAWK (N.S.Parmar) jumped out slow, losing about 3 lengths at the start.
Western FrontAfter the race, WESTERN FRONT was found to be sore by the right hind leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

ChephirahApproaching the 600 metres, CHEPHIRAH (C. S. Jodha) shifted in thereby tightening CIPHER (Neeraj Rawal) along the rails. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned.
Galloping StarThe Equine Hospital reported that GALLOPING STAR had injuries to both eyes (sore eye, lacrimation) and STORM EAGLE had injuries to both eyes (sore eye, lacrimation, corneal ulcer in the left eye).
TwinspireOn arrival at the start, TWINSPIRE (App.Raghuveer Singh) was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified the filly fit to race.
Princess AvikaAfter the race, PRINCESS AVIKA was observed to have a gum injury. DEL MAR (examined on 22/09/2019) was found to be sound in the trot.
GabbrielAt the start, GABRIEL (Amyn Merchant) was observed to have jumped inwards and had to be steadied.

3 (97) THE PUNE CITY GOLD CUP (GR.3)
TERMS - 3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD		 1600M

Awesome OneAfter the race, AWESOME ONE and NEW ENGLAND were trotted and found to be sound.
Governor GeneralGOVERNOR GENERAL (N.S.Parmar) took a fly jump thus losing about a length at the start.

4 (98) THE AMAZING GRACE PLATE

CabelleroPassing the 800 metres, CABELLERO (App. P. Vinod) shifted in thereby tightening CHOSEN ONE (App. A. S. Peter) along the rails who had to be checked and dropped back. After questioning App.P.Vinod and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs,2,000/.
Highland WoodsSoon after the start, HIGHLAND WOODS (App. M. Ayyar, dr.7) shifted out and carried BELENUS (A. Sandesh, dr.8) outwards. After the race, App. M. Ayyar reported that his mount was inclined outwards and had to be steadied. Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. Passing the 800 metres, HIGHLAND WOODS (App. M. Ayyar) shifted in and went across IMPROVISSO (Akshay) causing the latter to be checked. App. M. Ayyar has been cautioned.
The PowerfulrangerAt the start, SACHERTORTE (Neeraj Rawal, dr.3) ducked inwards thereby bumping OFFICER IN COMMAND (App. D. R. Shubham, dr.2) causing the latter to lose ground. On being questioned after the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal stated that his mount had ducked in immediately after the start thus he did not have sufficient time to correct his mount.. As such, Trainer M.Narredu has asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. Approaching the 400 metres, SACHERTORTE (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out thereby inconveniencing IMPROVISSO (Akshay) causing the latter to be checked and change course, due to which OFFICER IN COMMAND (App. D. R. Shubham) was inconvenienced. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned. The Equine Hospital reported that SACHERTORTE had left eye injury (sore eye, lacrimation).
GodswordIn the process of stalling, GODSWORD (C.S.Jodha) kicked the front gates. The filly was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified her fit to race.
LoireAfter the race, LOIRE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

5 (99) THE PENNYWISE PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 4 TO 30 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1200M
5.00 P.M.
Arabian MuktarOn arrival at the start, Jockey Amyn Merchant (ARABIAN MUKTAR) reported that his saddle’s tree had broken, as such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order.
AmeAt the start AME (A.Sandesh dr.1) jumped outwards on to CRAY CRAY (Akshay, dr.2).
Solo MissionSOLO MISSION (App.A.Prakash) jumped out slow, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Grand EyesGRAND EYES (App.S.A.Amit) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures. The Equine Hospital reported that GRAND EYES had left eye injury (eye injury with slight opacity).
Adams BeginningAfter the race, ADAMS BEGINNING, GRAND EYES and WABI SABI (examined on 22/09/2019) were trotted and found to be sound.
Anniversary GirlApproaching the 300 metres, ANNIVERSARY GIRL (S.Sunil) shifted out under urgings and went across LILIBETH (App.K.Nazil) who had to be steadied. Jockey S.Sunil has been cautioned.
MandrakeAfter the race, MANDRAKE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
