ScorcherIt was observed that SCORCHER(BhawaniSingh) was very fractious in the paddock and in the process the stirrup iron had snapped before the horse left the paddock. Subsequently, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to withdraw it from the above race.
Silent GuardianJockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SILENT GUARDIAN reported that his mount was hanging `in` badly despite hisbest efforts after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination.On examination, it was found to have pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed to produce a fitness Certificate from the Club`s VeterinaryOfficer before accepting with it again.
WoodyWOODY (Md.Akram)was slowly away,lost few lengths, did not raise a fluent gallop for the first 100 Metres and thereafter ran detached till about 600 Metres.In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K.P.G Appuwas informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one MockRace.

AleefJockeyA.S.Peter, Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ALEEF was fined Rs.3,000/for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race(1st infringement).
SultanaJockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of SULTANA reported that he accidentally lost his left stirrup soon after the start which here gained within a few strides.
Apollo BayAPOLLO BAY (A.S.Peter) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SULTANA(NazerulAlam) on its outside soon after the start. the rider of APOLLO BAY reported that he accidentally los this whip passing the 350 Metres.
String Of PearlsSTRING OF PEARLS (Amyn Merchant)was subjected toveterinary examination.On examination, it was found to have pulled up lame on rightfore. Trainer Mr.Hidayat Khanwas informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Heavenly AngelHEAVENLY ANGEL (Adarsh .G) was extremely fractious in the gates where by the Jockey got injured. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter`s order.
Knight TemplarKNIGHT TEMPLAR (A. Sandesh) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced MIGHTYRED(Bhawani Singh)on its outside soon after the start.
Gazebo TalkGAZEBOTALK(GSaiVamshi)was subjected to veterinary examination.On examination, it was found to have pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.Neil B Devaneywas informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AqabaAQABA (N. S. Parmar)ran detached from the field. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

4 (74) THE V. VENUGOPAL NAIDU MEMORIAL TROPHY

ManchesterJockey Irvan Singh, the rider of HAEDI`S FOLLY was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting `in` under the use of whip and causing interference to REGAL MUSIC (Ahsan Qureshi) and FIREGLOW(T.S.Jodha)on his inside passing the 1100 Metres.
SpiritousJockey Antony Raj S., the rider of SPIRITOUS was fined Rs.3,000/ for coming `in` and causing interference to HAEDI`S FOLLY (Irvan Singh), which in turn passed it on to REGAL MUSIC (Ahsan Qureshi) and FIRE GLOW (T. S. Jodha) on his inside along the rails passing the 1100 Metres. Jockey Antony Raj S., the rider of SPIRITOUS reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Miniver RoseMINIVER ROSE (Neeraj Rawal) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6 (76) THE CAMINETO PLATE

CamilaAs Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe was unable to fulfill his riding engagement due to personal reasons. Permission was granted to trainer Mr.Neil Darashah to declare Jockey Arshad Alam to ride CAMILA in place of the declared rider. CAMILA (Arshad Alam)was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

7 (77) THE HONEYDAY PLATE

MusterionJockey A. Sandesh, the rider of MUSTERION was fined Rs.5,000/ for shifting `in` and taking the ground of NAAYAAB (S.A. Amit)which was forced to shift `in` and cause interference to JAMES BOND (Md. Asif Khan) which had to check and fall back approaching 1200 Metres.
Brave BoyJockey Darshan R.N, the rider of JON SNOW was fined Rs.3,000/ for not making sufficient effort to improve his position at any point of the race.
NaayaabNAAYAAB(S.A.Amit)ran detached after entering the straight.The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.However,Trainer Mr.Imtiaz Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
