AmeSoon after the start, AME (S. Joseph) shifted in and at the same time KALINA (Kishore Kadam) shifted out thereby tightening and unbalancing FASHIONABLE GAIT (D. A. Naik). Thereafter, BROOKLYN BRIDGE (N. B. Kuldeep) and KALINA (Kishore Kadam) were observed to have jostled. After questioning all concerned, Jockeys S. Joseph and Kishore Kadam have been fined Rs.2,000/ each.
Snow BlastAn enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SNOW BLAST and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, SNOW BLAST was observed to have an abrasion at the left nostril. REGAL SHOT, ADAM’S CREATION, BROOKLYN BRIDGE and FASHIONABLE GAIT (examined on 28/07/2017) were trotted and found to be sound.
Sudarshan ChakraAt the start, SUDARSHAN CHAKRA (Bhawani Singh, dr.15) jumped outwards on to SARRAZIN (Amyn Merchant, dr.16).
Its A DealAfter the race, Jockey Sandeep Jadhav (ITS A DEAL) reported the loss of whip at about 200 metres. This being his first offence, he has been fined Rs.5,000/.
AtomicAfter the race, Jockey J. E. Pereira (ATOMIC) reported the loss of whip approaching the 200 metres, This being his first offence he has been fined Rs.5,000/. After the race, ATOMIC was found to be sore by the left fore leg. Also, the gelding had an abrasion at the left fore cannon. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Regal ShotAfter the race, Jockey H. Zeeshan (REGAL SHOT) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

3 (3) THE FAIR HAVEN TROPHY

TraherneApproaching 900 metres, TRAHERNE (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in due to which LONDON (Prashant P. Dhebe) who was racing on its haunches, had to be checked and change course thereby inconveniencing WINTER RENAISSANCE (C. S. Jodha) who had to be steadied. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned.
LondonApproaching 200 metres, LONDON (Prashant.P. Dhebe) shifted out thereby inconveniencing STARISTOCRAT (Yash Narredu) who was steadied. Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe has been cautioned.
StaristocratAfter the race, STARISTOCRAT and LONDON were trotted and found to be sound. STARISTOCRAT and PALATIAL had an abrasion at both the hind fetlock.

Smart ChoiceSMART CHOICE (D. A. Naik) refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts. As such, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer Vijay Kasbekar has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Furious N' FastPassing 400 metres, FURIOUS N’ FAST (A. Imran Khan) shifted in and made contact with PRINCESS ATHENA (S. J. Sunil). Jockey A. Imran Khan has been cautioned. Jockey A. Imran Khan (FURIOUS N’ FAST) has been fined Rs. 3,000/ for the excessive use of whip on his mount.
Aunty's BoyPassing 900 metres, DARK GOLD (R. Ajinkya) dropped back and at the same time FURIOUS N’ FAST (A. Imran Khan) leaned inwards, due to which DOMINATION (Yash Narredu) had to be checked.

Bullion ExpressIn the final stages of the race, BULLION EXPRESS (N. Nadeem) shifted in thereby tightening NAME OF THE GAME (D. A. Naik) along the rails. Jockey N. Nadeem has been cautioned.
Vengence Is MineJockey S. Sunil (WAY AHEAD) reported the loss of his whip passing the 100 metres. On questioning, he stated that the whip slipped out of his hand. This being his first offence, he has been fined Rs.5,000/.
FireboltAfter the race, FIREBOLT was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
SportoApproaching 600 metres, SPORTO (D. R. Shubham) was observed to have drifted out and carried DAZZLING DOLL (S. J. Sunil) outwards. The saddle on SPORTO (D. R. Shubham) was observed to have slipped during the race. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been fined Rs.2,000/ for faulty saddling of his charge.

6 (6) THE CARBON STAR PLATE

Lovely ThoughtsAt the request of Trainer Faisal A. Abbas, HELLS BELLS was examined at 1145 hours on 25/07/2017 and was found to have a capped elbow and was sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Star AnisePassing 900 metres, STAR ANISE (C. S. Jodha) shifted in on to VICTORIANA (Yash Narredu) who had to be checked. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned.
Perfect BalanceAfter being stalled, PERFECT BALANCE (A. Imran Khan) got fractious and stood in an awkward position. As such, the filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. who certified her fit to race.
Hulk SmashDOUBLEDOWN (S. Mosin) and VICTORIANA (Yash Narredu) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths each at the start.

7 (7) THE P HADOW TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66		 1200M

Double NineAt the start, DOUBLE NINE (Yash Narredu, dr.6) jumped outwards and at the same time MERABELLA (M. A. Roushan, dr.7) jumped inwards and they made contact.
ShaoqingSoon after the start, SHAOQING (App. Vishal. N. Bunde) was inconvenienced due to a tightly packed field.
Minstrel HeightsAt the start, MINSTREL HEIGHTS (K. Nazil, dr.14) jumped out awkwardly.

The Big RevivalAt the request of Trainer Adil Dajee, THE BIG REVIVAL was examined on 26/07/2017 and was found to have left fore tendinitis and was sore by the left fore leg. Tally HoAt the start, PETRONIUS (Neeraj Rawal, dr.6) jumped outwards and at the same time HUNAYN (J. Pradeep, dr.10) shifted in thereby tightening MILWALKEE (T. S. Jodha, dr.7), VITESSE (N. Nadeem, dr.8) and APPLE BETTY (Bhawani Singh, dr.9).
