1	(67)	THE WHISPERING GRASS PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 25 - (3 year old maidens only)	1200M

Mandakhni	b f MANDAKHNI, accepted to run in the above race, was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 28th August, 2010 and was found to be suffering from mild hyperthermia along with dullness. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan, deputising for Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Silver Guest	App Md. Sameer, the rider of MAFIA CHIEF, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for the indiscriminate use of the whip on his mount.
Kamakazi	KAMAKAZI (Gajender Singh) was very fractious while being stalled. Tr. R Gowli was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
Starlit Smile	STARLIT SMILE (App Mir Zafar) which jumped awkwardly out of the gates refused to raise a fluent gallop passing the 300 metres and ran detached from the field. In view of its performance Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

2	(68)	THE FRIENDLY DANCER HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 85	2000M

Validate

An objection was lodged by Jockey C Alford, the rider of VALIDATE placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ANDROLOGY placed 1st by the Judge on the grounds of “coming in at about the 700 metres whereby I had to check my mount, fall back and then I had to keep pushing him to come back into the race”. Having considered the evidence tendered by Jockeys C Alford and Vinay Jaiswal and viewing the CCTV replay of the race, the Stewards resolved to overrule the objection and decided to impose a fine of Rs. 5,000/ on Jockey C Alford for lodging a frivolous objection. The Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that on examination on the morning of 29th August, 2010 b m VALIDATE was found to have developed stiffness on hind quarters. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

Royal Scandal	b g ROYAL SCANDAL returned lame on left fore. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Scorsese	SCORSESE (Md. Islam) drifted to the outer portion of the race track passing the distance post.
All In The Stars	dk b f ALL IN THE STARS (Vinay Jaiswal) drifted to the outer portion of the race track in the final 300 metres of the race. The filly was impounded for veterinary examination. Subsequent to the race day, the Sr Veterinary Officer reported that no ailment was noticed. Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ALL IN THE STARS, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 metres.
Cosmic Sun	COSMIC SUN (App Arman Khan) was slow to begin.

4	(70)	THE RISING BELL HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65	1100M

Focus	Urine samples. Urine samples from the FOCUS.
Abaya	ABAYA (Md. Islam) was fractious while being stalled.
Blue Mountain	Soon after jumping out of the starting gates BLUE MOUNTAIN (Vinay Jaiswal), FOCUS (App Babu Singh) and COMMUNICATION (Md. Shabbani) were inconvenienced when ABAYA (Md Islam, drawn 1) shifted ‘outwards’ and KAYADHU (Pawan Sharma, drawn 5) shifted ‘inwards’.

Adamaris	ADAMARIS (Vivek) was slow to begin.
Palme Dor	Jockey Gajender Singh, the rider of PALME DOR, reported that his mount was inclined to run ‘out’ throughout the race. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan, deputising for Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed to take adequate corrective measures before next accepting with his charge.
Whispering Wind	The Veterinary Officer reported that b f WHISPERING WIND was observed to have sustained a cut injury on right hind.

6	(72)	THE BALLET MASTER HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1400M

Sea Monarch

SEA MONARCH (App Md Sameer) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start. App Md. Sameer, the rider of SEA MONARCH, was reprimanded for unnecessarily travelling two horses wide off the running rail when leading the field and thereafter drifting to the outer portion of the race track approaching the 400 metres for no apparent reason.
