Power Of FreedomPOWER OF FREEDOM (App P Vikram) and FENICIA (Vinay Jaiswal) were slow to begin
FeniciaPassing the 800 metres FENICIA (Vinay Jaiswal) travelling along the rails was tightened for room and lost some ground when POWER OF FREEDOM (App P Vikram) shifted ‘in’. At a subsequent enquiry App P Vikram was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for shifting ground when not adequately clear of the other runner. FENICIA (Vinay Jaiswal) finished the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

3 (117) THE FLYING SAUCER HANDICAP

FireburgJockey P S Chouhan, the rider of FIREBURG, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ from about the 800 metres marker.
XliteXLITE (I Khan) jumped awkwardly from the gates.
CasablancaJockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of CASABLANCA, reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres.

4 (118) THE BOUNTIFUL TREASURE HANDICAP

Stalloneb g STALLONE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on 28.1.2019 and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shyam S Habbu was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
EnchantedENCHANTED (A Sandesh) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.
TiberonTIBERON (App P Vikram) was fractious while being stalled.
Sparkling EyesSPARKLING EYES (App Rupal Singh) was slow to begin.
WhitewalkerOn jumping out from the gates WHITEWALKER (Ajeet Kumar) refused to raise a fluent gallop for some distance. In view of its behaviour Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. It was observed that b c LUMENAC (Md Islam) was unable to get a clear run for a major portion of the race due to the crowding of the field.

5 (121) THE MOON EMPEROR HANDICAP

DrogoDROGO (P S Chouhan) planted and took no part in the race. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.
