Katrak when questioned in this regard stated the Jockey was instructed to ride from the rear and he took no offence to the Jockey’s riding. Jockey Y.S.Srinath confirmed the instructions and said that since the pace of the race was slow, he had to ride his mount in check and settle behind. The explanation was noted. Jockey Y.S.Srinath (THE HURRICANE) has been fined Rs.3000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. |
