| In rear on the extreme outside till turn, went further wide yet managed to save place investments in the end; ridden patheticallyIncidents: Trainer Narendra Lagad informed the office that he had inadvertently forgotten to declare the following equipment (Blinkers and Basket Bit) on his charge USTAD PEDRO. Further, he stated that the gelding was placed under a Stipendiary Stewards ban and he was advised to show his charge in a mock race which he did on 21st February 2019 and in the said mock race the gelding had sported the above mentioned equipments which helped in improving the behavior of his charge, hence he requested that the same may be permitted to be used on his charge. In view of the gelding having sported the said equipment during the mock race, the same was permitted to be used in this race However, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been fined Rs.2,000/ for the lapse on his part. After the race, App. P. S. Kaviraj (USTAD PEDRO) reported that his mount hung out despite his efforts. Since the gelding had behaved in a similar manner in its previous start, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures and to show his charge in two mock races to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting with him to race. |
