Amazing Master (G. Shekhawat) won the DRC President Cup over 1200 metres for horses rated 60 to 86, the main event of the Delhi races on Monday. The Mohsin Khan trainee by HAMMERSTEIN(GB) - HYPATIA, hit the front with Miss Serena and Goed Paard and the favourite Bright Heart racing close behind. As they took the turn, Amazing Master drifted out four wide and was passed by Miss Serena on the rails. But Shekhawat again managed to bring Amazing Master in and the two fought out a brief duel before Amazing Master got up in time to win close home. Goed Paard was third ahead of Vaile Rouge and Bright Heart as they finished in a cluster.

In the opening event, the Jockeys Association Plate over 1000 metres for horses rated 20 to 46, it was favourite Bacardi Blast (R Parmod) and Master Faster (Amjad Khan) who fought it out with the former drifting out alarmingly and the rider whipping and not pushing for the horse to go ahead. In the meanwhile, Master Faster, 10 to 1, got stronger to win by a length with Bacardi Blast losing due to the pathetic ride given by Parmod.

Tracking the speedy Kirpan all the way, Golden Route took just that in the hands of Pawan Sharma to forge ahead and win the Trainers Association Plate over 1400 metres for horses rated 20 to 46. The REBUTTAL(USA) - FANTASY MOON progeny was clear of Kirpan and Want To Love with Master Djokovic filling the frame. Kirpan can do far better and must be followed.

Fast And Furious lived up to his name initially in the Owners & Trainers Association Plate over 1100 metres for horses rated 40 to 66 but it was the well backed Neivasha (Sandeep Rajput) who was more fast and more furious than the runner-up in the end. The ELJOHAR(IRE) - BON APETIT progeny staved off the challenge and won well. Dimple and Morning Devotion filled the frame.

The half money favourite Just Gold (Pawan Sharma) shot ahead from the No 11 draw and made every post a winning one in the Academic Plate over 1200 metres for horses 3-years-old only. The EPICENTRE(USA) - FLORSHIEN won by a widening margin of more than six lengths with Like My Child coming up on the rails to be second ahead of My Gloria and Seezuka who drifted out after racing second for the most part and must be followed.

Western India import Follow me ( M I Qureshi) slammed the field and won the Perceived Value Plate over 1100 metres for horses rated 1 to 26. The HYMN(IRE) - CONSORTIUM progeny gave trainer S M Abbas a rare win and staved off the speedy Ashwa Sunena who again failed as a favourite. Racing Pride was third ahead of Lady Anna.

The trainer-jockey combination of Magan Singh and Pawan Sharma recorded a double
