| | Tr. Neil Darashah and Jockey Arshad Alam when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of NIGHT SECRET, the Trainer stated that “My instructions were as usual to jump as well as possible and if you go to the front easily ok if not if someone is going to ride your race from wherever you are comfortable and do your best. Regarding my observations of the ride, I feel the jockey cut pace with Shamshir Sword and went too fast at the early part of the race which did not help her with the top weight on her back”. Jockey Arshad Alam stated that his mount was running well up with the front runner during the initial and middle stages of the race and thereafter suddenly started dropping back from about the 500 metres and finished the race detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the filly and report ailment, if any and on immediate examination the filly was found to be trotting sound. |

Vikash Jaiswal and Jockey Vinay Jaiswal when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of b g SHAMSHIR SWORD, the Trainer stated that “I had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in 3rd/4th position and to do his best but unfortunately the gelding bolted at the start and the Jockey could not hold position as instructed, hence the dismal performance in the race”. Jockey Vinay Jaiswal corroborated the Trainers’s instructions. He further continued by stating that the gelding was very keen to go to the front and he could not hold position as was instructed and on entering the straight the gelding had nothing much to offer. |
