| | On the day of the Declarations i.e. after the Acceptance Stage, Trainer Magan Singh reported that he had forgotten to apply for Blinkers on his charge ITS ON. The Trainer informed that the filly behaves very badly with a Rider on her and when she is without the Blinkers. He added that it’s a 3yearold and the filly’s first run and he feared for her safety as well as that of the other horses and also the Jockey. The Stipendiary Stewards reluctantly asked the Trainer to show the horse to them in the Paddock to ascertain the behavior of the horse with a Jockey. When the Jockey mounted the filly in the Paddock, she played up violently and in the process dislodged its Rider. In view of the dangerous behavior exhibited by the filly and after having reported the matter to the Stewards, the Trainer was permitted to apply Blinkers on ITS ON. However, since the filly needed the equipment so critically and the Trainer forgot to apply for the Blinkers, he has been fined Rs.5,000/ for his lapse. |

The Jockey admitted that he made an error of judgment and he should not have taken such a big break. Not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs.3,000/ and warned to be more careful in future. |

Jockey TS Jodha was observed to have restrained his mount till about 900 metres from the start which is a fair bit of ground to restrain a horse over a sprint distance and when questioned after the race he stated that his instructions were to be in 3rd/4th position and as he found himself in front, therefore, he had checked his mount. |
