1	(54)	THE S.HAJEE MEMORIAL PLATE-DIV.II A Handicap for Horses rated 25 & BELOW	1200M

Princely Gesture	PRINCELY GESTURE (Vivek) sustained injury on left hind inside cannon.
Vivid Colours	VIVID COLOURS (M.A. Milan) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. R. Mallikarjuna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Bonzini	Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdraw BONZINI on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Pleasure Bite	Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to withdraw PLEASURE BITE (G. Adarsh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have bleeding cut injury on right fore cannon and left knee and refused to be loaded in the float. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Alpha Centauri	Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of ALPHA CENTAURI, was fined Rs.3,000/ for not maintaining a straight course in the final stages of the race. ALPHA CENTAURI (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained cut injury on left hind inside fetlock.
Karumba	Jockey Ashan Qureshi, the rider of KARUMBA placed III by the judge objected against Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of ALPHA CENTAURI placed I for “ALPHA CENTAURI drifted alarmingly from the 250 Metres just when my horse had started to gallop which took my ground and lost all my chance”. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Mister Trooper	The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of MISTER TROOPER, to the Stewards for violation of Calendar Notification with regard to the use of whip in that as a rider of MISTER TROOPER he used the whip excessively on his mount (3rd infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Afsar Khan. After deliberations they decided to suspend Jockey Afsar Khan from riding in Races from 1492009 to 1892009 (both days inclusive) for the excessive use of whip on his mount MISTER TROPER in the above race.
Berkley Square	Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of BERKLEY SQUARE, was fined Rs.1,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Zindabad (O)	As Jockey S. Rajesh was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to substitute Jockey Vijay Kumar to ride ZINDABAD in place of the declared rider.

He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CIAMPINO (R. Ravi) dislodged the rider approaching the 1300 Metres.

Atlantus

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of ATLANTUS to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that as the rider of ATLANTUS he in the process of settling his mount allowed it to shift in sharply and cause severe interference to STAR BLUE (A. Ashok Kumar) which was forced to shift in causing CIAMPINO (R. Ravi) to clip the heels and fall approaching the 1300 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Afsar Khan. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey Afsar Khan from riding in races from 1992009 to 1102009 (both days inclusive) for careless riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of racing on his mount ATLANTUS in the above race (permitted to be ride work).
