D Karna	Soon after the start, MONK (S. Zervan) leaned inwards on to AME (N. S. Parmar), who in turn shifted in thereby tightening ISINIT (Amyn Merchant) forcing it to be checked and drop back.
Colosseum	The Equine Hospital reported that COLOSSEUM had right eye injury (corneal opacity and lacrimation, moderate ulcer in the right eye), ISINIT had left eye injury (mild ulcer with lacrimation), TURMERIC TOWER had left eye injury (mild ulcer) and THEA?S PET had injury in both eyes (left eye sore and right eye mild ulcer).

The Pie	THE PIE (A. Sandesh) reared up and flipped over in its stall, as such, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starter?s order. MELISANDRE (Bhawani Singh) was reluctant to be stalled and APRILIS (T. S. Jodha) jumped out slow and thereafter did not raise an effective gallop. Trainers Imtiaz A. Sait, S. K. Sunderji and M. K. Jadhav have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. The Sr. V.O. reported that THE PIE was examined immediately after withdrawal at the gates and was found to be trotting sound. However, after the races THE PIE was reported to the Equine Hospital at 4.30 p.m. and on examination, the mare was found to be sore from the right hind leg and had swelling at the hind quarters. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club?s V.O. before next accepting to race.
