ManaliThe Veterinary Officer reported that MANALI was examined on 9th Feb 2022, at 11:30 am, and was found to be lame due to an Injury during track work, as such, was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Richpal Singh has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
FargoTrainer Rajinder and Jockey S Amjad Khan were questioned with regard to the running and riding of FARGO. The instructions were to be in 3rd position and to ride hands and heels and not to use the whip as the mare had come out of laminitis. During the enquiry it was established that the mare was fully fit to race and Jockey S Amjad Khan could not give satisfactory explanation for his feeble riding effort while negotiating the bend and in the straight. as such, he has been fined Rs.4,000/ for Incompetent Riding on his mount.

PearlWhile being loaded, PEARL (Abdul Fazal) was extremely fractious and was reluctant to be loaded, as such, was withdrawn before coming under starters orders. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.
Ashwa KahiraJockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) was cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount wherein he shifted IN and brushed ANGELS HARMONY (SG Prasad) near 100 meters. Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) has been reprimanded for improper use of the whip wherein he had persisted with the use of the whip in his right hand as the mare was inclined to shift outwards. Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) was also warned for making celebratory gesture before passing the winning post.

After the race, ANGELS HARMONY was found to be sound and had normal dentition.
