1	(52)	THE VENUS DE MILO TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	1600M

Premier Connection	At the request of Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait, PREMIER CONNECTION was examined at 1250 hours on the race day (13/12/2009) and was found to have developed urticaria. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
On My Way(O)	Also, the right fore plate of ON MY WAY was observed to have been splayed.
Miss Pinky	After the race, MISS PINKY was found to be sound, having an abrasion on the right hind pastern and left hind fetlock. STARLITE EXPRESS was found to be sound, the filly coughed during veterinary examination.
Starlite Express	STARLITE EXPRESS (Adrian Nicholls) luggedin through out the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Grey Island	GREY ISLAND (C.S.Jodha) jumped out slowly, losing about 6 lengths at the start. Since GREY ISLAND had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha has been asked to show the gelding in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting with him to race.

2	(53)	THE MAHARASHTRA AND GUJARAT AREA TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	2000M

Desert Dynamite	DESERT DYNAMITE (S.A. De Sousa) kept an erratic course in straight. The Sr. VO was requested to examine the filly and he reported that no abnormality was detected.
Lightning Cavalry	After the race, LIGHTNING CAVALRY & DESERT DYNAMITE were found to be sound.

Star Crusader	On arrival at the Starting Gate, STAR CRUSADER (Suraj Narredu) was examined by the Club`s Sr.V.O. and found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds, before coming under the Starter`s order. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club`s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Chimerique	After the race, CHIMERIQUE & THE GIANT were found to be sound.

5	(56)	THE SIR JAMSETJEE JEEJEEBHOY (VI BART) TROPHY TERMS - 2 year old maidens only	1000M

Star Glory (O)	STAR GLORY (James Doyle) was reluctant to be stalled despite all efforts and in the process the head gear came off, as such, the colt was withdrawn before coming under the Starter`s order. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to show the colt in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting with him to race.
Batista	At the start, BATISTA (Paul Mulrennan, dr.5) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and went on to OCEAN OF FAITH (Aadesh Kumar, dr. 3).
Angels Pursuit	Soon after the start, ANGELS PURSUIT (B. Prakash) shifted in and inconvenienced BATISTA (Paul Mulrennan) who was checked by its rider. Jockey B. Prakash has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Hearts On Fire(O)	HEARTS ON FIRE (Y.S. Srinath) was inclined to lug out. Trainer C. D. Katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Ocean Of Faith	After the race, OCEAN OF FAITH & HEARTS ON FIRE were found to be sound.

6	(57)	THE MORELLATO BY GITANJALI LIFESTYLE CHALLENGE TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1200M

Sea Princess	At the start, SEA PRINCESS (C. Ruzaan, dr.2) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and made contact with AURORA AUREALIS (M. Narredu, dr.1). After the race, SEA PRINCESS was observed to have lost her left hind plate.
Spica	In the final stages of the race, SPICA (Dashrath Singh) shifted in despite of jockey`s effort and inconvenienced to AURORA AUREALIS (M. Narredu). Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race mare.

7	(58)	THE GIANTTI - GITANJALI INDIAN 1000 GUINEAS (GR.1) TERMS - 3 years old only	1600M

Astral Flash	After the race, ASTRAL FLASH was found to have an abrasion on the left hind chestnut and a clip injury on the right hind canon.
Change Of Luck	Near 700 metres, CHANGE OF LUCK (David Allan) was inconvenienced while racing between ASTRAL FLASH (Suraj Narredu) and FIRE STREAK (Y. S. Srinath).
Messalina (0)	MESSALINA (N.G.McCullagh) was placed fifth and CELESTIAL WAY (C.D.Hayes) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Celestial Way	Jockey C. D. Hayes (CELESTIAL WAY) was observed to have ridden his mount too much in check in early part of the race. When questioned, Jockey C.D.Hayes stated that his instructions were to settle his mount and ride, therefore, he had ridden the filly in check. He added that in hindsight, he should have allowed the filly to find her own pace and ride along. He further stated that he had informed the same to the Trainer & Owner. The explanation was noted.
Fire Streak	Near 1300 metres, FIRE STREAK (Y. S. Srinath) shifted in and went across to CELESTIAL WAY (C. D. Hayes), causing its rider to check his mount. Jockey Y. S. Srinath has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
De Nada	Soon after the start, DE NADA (Paul Mulrennan) raced keenly and in trying to settle his mount, the filly shifted out and carried FIRE STREAK (Y. S. Srinath) outwards. The explanation of Jockey Y. S. Srinath that his mount was carried away by DE NADA in the early part of the race whereby his filly could not race with cover, was noted.

8	(59)	THE SETH RAMNATH DAGA TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1000M

Ekhabinskya	After the race, EKHABINSKYA and IL DIVO were found to be sore by the right fore leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.
Il Divo	Jockey C. Ruzaan was questioned regarding his riding on IL DIVO. The Jockey stated that he was asked not to hit the front as there were many fast horses but to take a good jump brush up and sit wherever comfortable. No further enquiries were made in the matter since the Sr. VO had reported that the gelding returned sore after the race.
Schnell(O)	Jockey R. P.Cleary reported that his mount, SCHNELL, was inclined to run out near 800 metres. Trainer H. J. Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Lago Medio	LAGO MEDIO (App.M.A.Roushan) was unsettled in the gate and thereafter jumped out awkwardly losing about 3 lengths at the start. Since LAGO MEDIO had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to show the gelding in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting with him to race.

9	(60)	THE RUNNING FLAME TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 19	1200M

Addiction

After the race, ADDICTION was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.

Above All

Jockey T. Atul (ABOVE ALL) has been cautioned for using his whip with his right hand while his mount was inclined to shift out whereby ETERNAL FLIGHT (Dashrath Singh) was carried outwards. Jockey T.Atul (ABOVE ALL) reported the loss of whip near 400 metres. Since the horse was out of contention and this being the first time this season the jockey had reported loss of whip, no action has been initiated against him beyond reminding him of the notice with regard to the loss of whip. After the race, ABOVE ALL was found to be sound.
