Chouhan (CLAUDIUS) reported the loss of whip at about 300 metres. This being the first instance during the current Pune Meeting 2022, no action has been initiated.
KimikoKIMIKO (C. S. Jodha) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.
OlympiaAfter the race, PRINIA was subjected to Veterinary examination and scoping. Subsequently, the Sr. V.O. reported that the filly was trotted and found to be sound but had EIPH (Gr.II).
Fancy NancyAt the start, TURECI (Dashrath Singh, dr.4) & CHAMPAGNE SMILE (Vishal N. Bunde, dr.3) jumped inwards thereby inconveniencing FANCY NANCY (Antony Raj S., dr.2) thereafter FANCY NANCY shifted out and went across TURECI causing the latter to clip its heels and stumble. Jockey Antony Raj S. has been fined Rs.2,000/ The Equine hospital reported that the FANCY NANCY had both eye injuries.

My PrincessJockey Akshay Kumar (MY PRINCESS) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his second offence during the current Pune Meeting 2022, he has been fined Rs.5,000/.
Mighty ThunderPassing the 700 metres, MIGHTY THUNDER (App. Mustakim Alam) leaned inwards and brushed the haunches of TOUSSAINT (S. J. Sunil) thereafter MIGHTY THUNDER once again leaned at the 600 metres and brushed the haunches of TOUSSAINT who was inclined outwards. App. Mustakim Alam has been severely reprimanded.
ToussaintPassing the 700 metres, MIGHTY THUNDER (App. Mustakim Alam) leaned inwards and brushed the haunches of TOUSSAINT (S. J. Sunil) thereafter MIGHTY THUNDER once again leaned at the 600 metres and brushed the haunches of TOUSSAINT who was inclined outwards. App. Mustakim Alam has been severely reprimanded.

DyfPassing the 1800 metres, EMPEROR RODERIC (Suraj Narredu) shifted out thereby bumping and forcing DYF (P. Trevor) onto WALL STREET (Yash Narredu). After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu reported that his mount was keen and as a result inclined outwards, despite his efforts. After the race, DYF was observed to have lost right hind shoe.

HistoricAt the request of Trainer Shazaan Shah, HISTORIC was examined in the stable area at 10.35 a.m. on 15/10/2022 and was found to be lame by right fore, the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
HelaAn objection was lodged by Apprentice Jockey P. Shinde (POWER OF NEATH) placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey Bhawani Singh (HELA) placed first by the Judge. The reason being, in the last 100 metres, rider of HELA hit him twice with the whip, first on his hand and second time on the Blinker of his horse which was damaged. Thereby his horse shied and it cost him a certain race.

After the race, JET TYPHOON was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

Dhebe, dr.6) who was in the adjoining stall was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and the gelding was found to have bleeding injury on left hind cannon and was certified unfit to race as such the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Midas TouchMIDAS TOUCH (Bhawani Singh, dr.7) played up after being stalled and casted herself underneath the stall as such the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Ashwa YashodhraIn the final stages of the race, INDIAN CROWN (Antony Raj S.) drifted out under the whip thereby taking the ground of RUE ST HONORE’ (Neeraj Rawal). After questioning Jockey Antony Raj S. he has been fined Rs.5,000/.
