YuhinaYUHINA (P Kamlesh) and ONE MAN ARMY (I Chisty) were slow to begin.
Marco Polo(O)Jockey M Maseyk, the rider of MARCO POLO, reported the loss of his whip soon after jumping out of the gates.

Crystal DanceAt the request of Tr. Vijay Singh, ch c CRYSTAL DANCE accepted to run in the above race was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 18th December, 2009 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
MandiraUnder pressure, MANDIRA (I Chisty) ran an erratic course in the final stages of the race and momentarily inconvenienced SECRET LOVE (Nirmal Jodha) on its out side.

Bullet ProofAt the request of Tr. Javed Khan, ch g BULLET PROOF declared to run in the above race was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 19th December, 2009 and found to be lame on its left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Brave MoveAn enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of BRAVE MOVE, ridden by App Ajoy Roy and trained by Mr. Vijay Singh.
Harey PutterThe Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that HAREY PUTTER returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. R Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Manjhale NawabBRAVE MOVE (App Ajoy Roy) and MANJHALE NAWAB (App Nelson Maseyk) were slow to begin losing approximately two lengths each.
Ferdunji CooverjiApproaching the 600 metres FERDUNJI COVERJI (App Pintu Das) positioned along the rails was checked by its rider and lost ground when SEA SPRITE (M Maseyk) shifted ‘inwards’. Further on entering the straight SEA SPRITE shifted ‘outwards’ causing interference to EBONY PRINCESS (Md Islam). At a subsequent enquiry Jockey M Maseyk was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for repeatedly changing course during the race when not adequately clear of the other runners.

Flashing FlameFLASHING FLAME (Haroon Khan) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.

5 (75) THE FAME STAR HANDICAP
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 50		 2000M
MalikahMALIKAH (Md. Islam) was very fractious while being loaded thereby delaying the start of the race. In view of the filly’s behaviour, Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again. The Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that MALIKAH returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
King's AceKING’S ACE (A Imran Khan) and LEGENDARY EMPEROR(App Arman Khan) were fractious while being loaded.
Flaming CometFLAMING COMET (App Md. Shabbani) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start. FLAMING COMET (App Md. Shabbani) under pressure drifted to the outer portion of the race track approaching the 300 metres of the race.
WitnessJockey C Ruzaan when questioned regarding the performance of b g WITNESS stated that inspite of his continuous urgings the gelding was not inclined to raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. On immediate examination after the race the Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that no ailment was noticed. Tr. Bharath Singh has been advised to keep his charge under observation and report ailment, if any.

6 (76) THE P C LALL OF NAZARGUNJ MEMORIAL CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE		 1400M
AdamarisAn objection was lodged by App Mahesh, the rider of ADAMARIS, placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey A Imran Khan, the rider of GRAND MADAME, placed 2nd by the Judge on the grounds of “interference in the final 200 metres of the race he came onto my horse, causing it to stumble at which stage I was full of running and this cost me the race”. The Stewards interviewed App B Mahesh and Jockey A Imran Khan and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race, resolved to overrule the objection and the Judge’s placings remained unaltered.
AccaliaThe bridle cheek piece of b f ACCALIA was replaced at the start as the buckle had broken.
DiomedesDIOMEDES (S Domingo) was fractious while being loaded.

7 (77) THE NANOLI STUD CALCUTTA GOLD CUP (GR.2)
TERMS - 3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD		 1600M
IkariaIKARIA (R P Cleary) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.
Echoes Of LightECHOES OF LIGHT (C Alford) was fractious while being loaded thereby delaying the start of the race.
DiabolicalApproaching the 400 metres DIABOLICAL (A Imran Khan) shifted ‘inwards’ causing interference to ABS FABS(I Chisty) which had to be checked by its rider and lost some ground. Consequently, RAGHUVANSH (N G McCullagh) which was following was shifted ‘outwards’ by its rider inconveniencing SNOWDEN (C Ruzaan). At a subsequent enquiry Jockey A Imran Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for shifting ground when not adequately clear of the other runners.
Hugo BossJockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of HUGO BOSS, was fined a sum of Rs.500/ for improper use of the whip whereby he repeatedly struck Jockey A Imran Khan (DIABOLICAL) on his arm passing the distance post.

8 (78) THE ALLIED FORCES HANDICAP
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 70		 1200M
Crush On YouCRUSH ON YOU (A Imran Khan) was very fractious inside its stall. The filly was taken out, examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer and found to have sustained cut injuries on her hind legs. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate on CRUSH ON YOU has been revoked by the Starter. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
CarmenApproaching the 800 metres of the race CARMEN (C Ruzaan) hung ‘outwards’ carrying BEST BET (Md. Islam) out onto AGILITY (I Chisty) which in turn carried GENEROUS THOUGHT (Nirmal Jodha) wider hampering MAGIC MANTRA (Vinay Jaiswal ).
ApostropheAs Jockey Imran Khan was declared medically unfit to ride, Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was permitted to substitute Jockey Russell Xaviers to ride his charge APOSTROPHE.
Generous ThoughtJockey Nirmal Jodha, the rider of GENEROUS THOUGHT, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ throughout the race. Tr. Javed Khan was advised to take appropriate corrective measures.
Sea MonarchFor failing to produce the registered colours of the owner in respect of his charge SEA MONARCH, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was fined a sum of Rs. 325/, subsequently ‘ALL BLACK’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.
