Knight DefensorKNIGHT DEFENSOR (S. Saqlain) dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates, ran anticlockwise on outer sand track and was apprehended near the starting gates. On immediate examination by the Club`s Veterinary Officer it was found to be blowing heavily (increased respiratory rate). Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
