1 (85) THE DIVINE LIGHT PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 25 & BELOW		 1200M
Blue GumBLUE GUM (P. Ramesh) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders as it reared up inside the gates and suffered head injury. Trainer Mr. Feroz M. Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Pokemon MasterAs Jockey Shanth Kumar was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi to substitute Jockey Noorulla to ride POKEMON MASTER in place of the declared rider. Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of POCKET DYNAMITE, was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement). Jockey Noorulla, the rider of POKEMON MASTER was fined Rs.2,000/ for exulting before passing the winning post.

3 (87) THE SINDHU PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65		 1200M
Amelia CordellAs Jockey Himanshu was declared medically unfit to ride and as no suitable substitute rider was available, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to withdraw AMELIA CORDELL from the above race.
EverblazingAs Jockey A.M. Tograllu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa to substitute Jockey D. Mahendran to ride EVERBLAZING in place of the declared rider. EVERBLAZING (D. Mahendran) sustained punctured wound on right hind inside cannon.

4 (88) THE STAR SUPREME CUP

5 (89) THE NADIR PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1600M
Jedi KnightIt was observed during the race that the lead bag and the numdah on JEDI KNIGHT had slipped out of the saddle and fell on the track. The horse passed the winning post without the lead bag and the numdah. On weighing in the Jockey weighed 6 kgs less than that he had weighed out with. A Stewards enquiry was held and subsequently JEDI KNIGHT was disqualified from the above race. An enquiry has been opened into the incident. The Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi to the Stewards for negligence in the discharge of his duties pertaining to the saddling of his charge JEDI KNIGHT (Rule No.166(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in that the lead bag and the Namda came off from the saddle between the 600 and 400 Metres whereby the rider weighed in 6 Kgs. less in relation to weighing out resulting in the horse being disqualified for the race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 20th July 2009 and interviewed trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi. After deliberations, they decided to fine trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi Rs.25,000/ for faulty saddling (Rule No.166 (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing) of his charge JEDI KNIGHT in the above race.
Jericho (O)JERICHO was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from dehydration. Trainer Mr. M.Pratap Kamath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Beauty On DutyAn enquiry has been opened into the riding of Jockey Afsar Khan on BEAUTY ON DUTY in the above race.
AlinskiAn enquiry has been opened into the riding of Jockey Nelson Maseyk on ALINSKI in the above race.
Worth A GoldWORTH A GOLD (P. Mani) splayed its right hind shoe during the race.
Buddy(O)AS Jockey A.M. Tograllu was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Md. Shafiq to ride BUDDY in place of the declared rider.

6 (90) THE NARMADA PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 & ABOVE		 1200M
CheetahCHEETAH (A.R. Mani) was very fractious on the way to the starting gates and dislodged the rider. As the Jockey was injured, the horse was permitted to be withdrawn.
Billy BlackjackBILLY BLACKJACK (S. Chandrashekar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Nectar JewelNECTAR JEWEL (J. Paswan) splayed its right hind shoe. An enquiry has been opened into the riding of Jockey J. Paswan on NECTAR JEWEL in the above race.
Royal ViewPermission was granted to trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra to substitute Jockey Noorulla to ride ROYAL VIEW in place of the declared rider.
Fire BrigadeFIRE BRIGADE (Saddam Iqbal) splayed its right hind shoe.
Swift SwordSWIFT SWORD (Khalander) sustained clipped injury on left hind bulb of heel.
