Drum DanceExplanation of Jockey Arvind Joshi (DRUM DANCE) that his mount lost her hind action as the start was effected in the process scrapped the front gates due to which he got injured whereby he was unable to offer complete assistance to the mare throughout the race, noted. Subsequently the Medical Officer had declared Jockey Arvind Joshi unfit to ride for the remainder of the days programmed.

Ivory SnowJockey Harish (IVORY SNOW) fined Rs.2000/ for shifting in at about 300 metres bumping AL MALAWI (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) who in turn shifted in causing interference to HOSPITALITY (A. RAMANA) on the rails. Explanation of Trainer L.D’Silva regarding the inconsistent running of his charge IVORY SNOW (HARISH) that his charge in his previous engagement when ridden by App. B. Mukesh was unable to be positioned in a striking position and in the straight was gaining ground and not passing the runners as also ran with a superior bunch. Trainer L.D’Silva further stated that he had therefore opted for use of Blinkers since IVORY SNOW was reluctant to pass the runners in the crucial stages of the race and a stronger handling of Jockey Harish in the saddle as also the company being a mediocre set and 100 metres less to travel were to the filly’s advantage as such had gone onto win, noted. Trainer L.D’Silva was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
TiaraJockey N.M.Sequeira (TIARA) fined Rs.1000/ for shifting in at about 800 metres causing interference to JUST BE COOL (S. SREEKANT).
Hunting BoyHUNTING BOY (R. LAXMIKANTH) dwelt and lost 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked.
Al ZaharaAL ZAHARA (M.F. ALI KHAN) and QUEEN OF MELODY (SK. FAROOKH) were slow into stride losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.

Global StarExplanation of Jockey R. Laxmikanth (GLOBAL STAR) that the bridle used on his mount had shifted to the right as he was held in the gates and thereafter the gelding ran as such due to which he had no control over his mount whereby was unable to ride out to complete advantage, noted.

Rawal (SHES GOT THE LOOK) that his mount was slowly off at the start in the process losing about 2 to 3 lengths and in trying to follow the given instructions of hitting the front he accidentally lost his left stirrup iron at about 1800 metres which he could regain it after traveling about two furlongs was therefore unable to offer any assistance to his mount, noted.
