Sheer RocksThe Stewards after the last race questioned Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE drawn 5. The replay of the race was shown on various angles when the start was effected before the red marker. The Chief Stipendiary Steward explained the interference caused by Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE who caused severe interference to favourite SHEER ROCKS (C Umesh) drawn 2 who had to check and drop back losing his position. Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE accepted his fault and didn’t have anything to say in the matter. The Stewards deliberated the matter and decided to charge Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE for improper riding on his mount CUBAN PETE in consultation with the Chief Stipendiary Steward. and suspend him for 2 race days and impose a fine of Rs 15,000/.
