California GoldPermission was granted to Trainer, Mr. Bipin V Salvi to withdraw CALIFORNIA GOLD from the above Race, as it was observed to have sustained multiple injuries on both fore legs and face. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again.
Country MagicTrainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the reversal of form of COUNTRY MAGIC (Siddaraju P), the winner of the above Race as compared to its performance in Race No. 67 of the Mysore Winter Races 202324, i.e., The Formal Invitation Plate (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, 6 years old and over, run on Tenth Day, Wednesday, 31st January, 2024, when ridden by Jockey Tousif Khan, it ran unplaced. Not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows; a) To fine Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand only) for the reversal of form of his charge COUNTRY MAGIC (P Siddaraju) as compared to its previous run in Race No. 67 of the Mysore Winter Races 202324 and for the unsatisfactory explanation tendered during the enquiry. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g COUNTRY MAGIC.
ArmamentJockey Md. Imran Ashraf, the rider of DHURANDAR was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in’ and causing interference to ARMAMENT (Abhishek Mhatre) on his inside at the 1000 Metres.
D FighterD FIGHTER (V R Jagdeesh) did not get a clear run between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres, due to a wall of horses in front of him.
Step Up GirlIt was reported after the Race that STEP UP GIRL (Abdul Fazal) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again.
DhurandarJockey Md. Imran Ashraf, the rider of DHURANDAR was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in’ and causing interference to ARMAMENT (Abhishek Mhatre) on his inside at the 1000 Metres.

Brightest StarJockey S Saqlain, the rider of BRIGHTEST STAR, was reprimanded for cutting across the field, before passing the Red Marker Post. BRIGHTEST START (Saqlain S) did not get a clear run between the 800 Metres and the 600 Metres due to tightly packed field. BRIGHTEST START (Saqlain S) inclined to run out rounding the bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that examination of mouth revealed sharp molars and fresh injuries inside the cheek; Hence, Trainer Mr. Eshwer M was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence [1st Infringement].
Natural TornadoJockey R N Darshan, the rider of NATURAL TORNADO, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in’ and causing interference to WINTER STORM (P Kiran Rai) on his inside soon after the start.

WeronikaJockey Madhu Sudhan, the rider of WERONIKA, reported that he was momentarily unbalanced from his saddle soon after the start and thereafter, his mount brushed the railings at 1200 Metres.

N R I AceN R I ACE (Abdul Fazal) was very fractious and hit the frames of the gates due to which, the right stirrup broke and also saddle shifted back while being loaded into the Starting Stall. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Orders.
VeeraVEERA (V R Jagdeesh) – Was slowly away and lost about two lengths.
Military BarbieMILITARY BARBIE (Shamaz Shareef) sustained bleeding injury inside right hind fetlock.

7 (77) THE AJANTHA PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 & ABOVE		 1600M

GhyamaJockey Saqlain S, the rider of GHYAMA reported that his mount was hanging `out’ after entering the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it, again.
BenghaziBENGHAZI (M Rajesh Kumar) did not raise a fluent gallop soon after the start. BENGHAZI (M Rajesh Kumar) – Was slowly away and lost few lengths.

Coyote GirlCOYOTE GIRL (V R Jagdeesh) reared up as the gates opened, dropped the rider and thereafter, ran on and finished the Race, riderless; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day. COYOTE GIRL (V R Jagdeesh) – Reared up as the gates opened dropped the rider and ran riderless.
Trump BabyJockey P S Chouhan, the rider of TRUMP BABY, reported that the saddle shifted back, after entering the Straight. After due examination of the equipment after the Race which was found to be in serviceable condition, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.3,000/ for faulty saddling. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m TRUMP BABY.
Great HopeJockey Koshi Kumar, the rider of GREAT HOPE was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in’ and causing interference to FLAMIGO DANCER (Siddaraju P), on his inside, at the start.
AthulyaATHULYA (Inayat) accidentally brushed the railings, approaching the 1000 Metres.
Confident GameIt was observed that CONFIDENT GAME (Shreyas Singh) accidentally hit the Railing upright with its right fore leg and lost some ground, approaching the 1000 Metres.
