As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary ground. Trainer Sartaj Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race. There were no Deductions as a result of withdrawal of GAMBLER RETURNS.
AdelaideOn a request from Trainer A.Khan ADELAIDE was examined at 10.00 a.m. on 8 Jan 2018 and was found to be lame on left fore leg. As such the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary ground. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race.
Sea StormUrine sample from winner, SEA STORM, and WHIFF OF GOLD were sent for analytical test.
Mr ChairmanJockey Mohanlal (MR CHAIRMAN) has been cautioned for prematurely easing out his mount before passing the Post.
Ashwa GaurviTrainer I S Parmar and Jockey Khet Singh were questioned regarding the running and riding of ASHWA GAURVI. Trainer stated that he instructed the jockey to take a quick jump and settle the horse in 4th,5th or 6th and do his best in the straight. He further stated that his charge was running after it suffered from colic and could have been weak. To another query, he stated that the horse was fit to race otherwise he would not have accepted with it. Jockey Khet Singh stated that he had followed the Instructions. Not being satisfied with his explanation of the Jockey, he was cautioned for not being vigorous in his riding. Trainer IS Parmar has been asked to submit the logbooks in respect of his charge. The scrutiny of the logbooks did not reveal any discrepancy.

Whiff Of GoldJockey Praveen Saini (WHIFF OF GOLD) has been cautioned for shifting in near 1000 metres and inconveniencing ASHWA GAURAVI (Khet Singh). The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that WHIFF OF GOLD broke a blood vessel. The mare has been stopped from racing for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. Trainer Raj Kumar Saini has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race.

Smile Of LoveAt the start, SMILE OF LOVE (Gurpreet Singh) did not raise a gallop and then drifted towards the outer rail and took no practical part in the race. Considering that the filly had behaved in a similar manner in its previous start, that is, in Race no 139, Trainer Magan Singh has been asked to show the mare in Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.
Miss DuncanOn a request from Trainer Zulfiqar Khan MISS DUNCAN was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate ground.
Golden CoastUrine sample from winner, GOLDEN COAST, and GOLDEN MAGIC were sent for analytical test.
Golden MagicJockey Arun Kumar (GOLDEN MAGIC) and Jockey D Kumar (IN MY LIFE) travelled wide throughout the race. As GOLDEN MAGIC (Arun Kumar) had broken a blood vessel, no action was initiated against Jockey Arun Kumar, who had reported that he felt his mount to be uncomfortable during the race, however Jockey D Kumar (IN MY LIFE) has been cautioned for travelling wide for no apparent reason. The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that GOLDEN MAGIC broke a blood vessel. The mare has been stopped from racing for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. Trainer Raj Kumar Saini has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race.
Hot BloodSoon after the start, HOT BLOOD (Himalay S Pawar) shifted in, despite of the Jockey’s effort, and jostled with GOLDEN COAST (G S Shekhawat).

Master CristianoAt the start, MASTER CRISTIANO (Mohd Asif) threw its head up. Jockey Mohd Asif (MASTER CRISTIANO) and Jockey K Narendra Kumar (HARDY) were cautioned for travelling wide for no apparent reason.
NiobraraJockey Jai Parkash (NIOBRARA) has been reprimanded for taking unnecessary lead during the race and for failing to exhibit timely effort when challenged by others from about 250 meters from the winning post.

Acro PolisBefore stalling, ACRO POLIS (R Parvesh) was examined at the Starting gate and was found to be lame on left fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary ground. Trainer K Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race. As a consequence of withdrawal of ACRO POLIS, a deduction of 10% on win 30% on Place was effected.
Ashwa JagiraTrainer I S Parmar was questioned with regard to the improved performance of his charge ASHWA JAGIRA in view of inconsistent pattern of running as compared to its pervious run in Race. No.123 on 19th Dec 2017. The Trainer stated his charge received an interference in its last run; secondly, he had given similar instructions on both the occasions i.e. hit the front or sit 2nd or 3rd position and the mare was able to manage front position which suited her to win the race; thirdly, this was the maiden win and the mare has never even placed in her racing career, fourthly, he had not fancied and she was available at long odds. The explanation tendered by the Trainer was noted. The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ASHWA JAGIRA sustained a cut injury on its left hind leg and has to be passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer prior to presenting the gelding for future trial or race. Urine sample from winner, ASHWA JAGIRA, was sent for analytical test.
Trustfull GirlApproaching 1000 metres, TRUSTFULL GIRL (S Amjad Khan) was steadied as KING AND COUNTRY (Arman Ali Khan) shifted inwards. Jockey Arman Ali Khan has been cautioned.
ZamariahAt the start, ZAMARIAH (Danish Ali Khan) was slowly away.
Amazing HeroAs Jockey Praveen Saini was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mohsin Khan to substitute him with Jockey R Rakesh to ride SPEED HUNT.
Ashwa GarimaAt the start, ASHWA GARIMA (Sameer Qureshi) was slowly away, losing about three lengths and then swerved outwards, losing further ground. The mare rejoined the field after travelling about 150 metres. Trainer IS Parmar has been to give more Gate practice to his charge before next accepting to race.

As such the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary ground. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer prior to her being presented for any future trial or race.

Ashwa SonikaThe Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ASHWA SONIKA broke a blood vessel. The mare has been stopped from racing for the stipulated period of 4 weeks and until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer prior to her being presented for any future trial or race.
Shane PunjabJockey S Lalit (SHANE PUNJAB) reported that his mount did not take a proper jump and hence, was slowly off as the start was effected.
My Sweet HeartJockey Arman Ali Jafri (ONE TWO THREE) reported that his mount changed its legs a few times during the race. On a veterinary examination, the filly was found to be lame by its left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer prior to her being presented for any future trial or race.
NebulousAt the start, NEBULOUS (D Kumar) took a fly jump. At the start, the Blindfold on NEBULOUS (D Kumar) came off fractionally late and thereafter, the mare reared up as the start was effected and lost ground.

Master JeffersonThe Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MASTER JEFFERSON was found to be lame by its left fore leg, and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate prior to the gelding being presented for any future trial or race. There were no deductions as a consequence of MASTER JEFFERSON having been withdrawn.
ShengliJockey Sameer Qureshi (SHENGLI) was cautioned for making a victory sign before passing the winning post. Urine sample from the winner, SHENGLI, was sent for analytical test.
Angel PrincessIt was observed that ANGEL PRINCESS (Sameer Khan) shifted out soon after jumping out which was corrected by the Jockey passing some distance. Trainer K P Singh was advised to take remedial measures.
Big NewsTrainer Rajinder was fined Rs.1000/ for failing to produce the registered racing colours at the scales and he was permitted to the use of the Emergency colours i.e. “ALL BLACK” in respect of his charge BIG NEWS.
Beautiful EveningAt the start, BEAUTIFUL EVENEING (Akash Rajput) jumped out awkwardly. Jockey Akash Rajput (BEAUTIFUL EVENING) reported that his mount was fractious inside the gates, since his mount had been standing in the Gates for a considerable time and also that his mount threw its head up, which placed his mount at a disadvantage in getting a good position in the race.
Mister BestJockey Jai Parkash (MISTER BEST) was cautioned for not making sufficient effort to improve his position in the early stages of the race.
Forever YoursJockey K Narender Kumar (FOREVER YOURS) and Jockey S Lalit (HURACAN) were reprimanded for not being vigorous in the initial stages of the race and in the process failing to take up an advantageous position with their respective mounts.
