Thunder On(OLD)Jockey S. John, the rider of THUNDER ON, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting in and causing interference to BRIDGE TOO FAR (M. Madhu Babu) approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey S. John, the rider of THUNDER ON, was fined Rs.1,000/ for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). Jockey S. John, the rider of THUNDER ON, was fined Rs.2,000/ for the improper use of whip on his mount during the race
Bridge Too FarJockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of BRIDGE TOO FAR, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting out and causing interference to THUNDER ON (S. John) soon after the start and was further fined Rs.1,000/ for allowing his mount to drift out in the straight for no apparent reason.
RaddishAs Jockey A.R. Mani was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Girinath C to substitute Jockey P. Mani in place of the declared rider.

3 (58) THE DODDABALLAPURA PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1200M
Golden FlowersThe Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of GOLDEN FLOWERS to the Stewards for careless riding (Rule No.161(i)) in that he sharply shifts in and causes interference to GOLDEN KISS (Himanshu), AUSTRALIS (H.G. Rathod) and CANNON TARGET (M. Krishna) passing the 1100 Metres and again approaching the 800 Metres he shifts out from the rails and causes interference to CANNON TARGET (M. Krishna) which had to be checked. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey M. Madhu Babu. After viewing the CCTV replay and after deliberating, they decided to suspend Jockey M. Madhu Babu from riding in races on 2062009 for careless riding (Rule No.161(i)) on his mount GOLDEN FLOWERS in the above race (permitted to ride work).
MasurathiJockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of MASURATHI, was severely reprimanded for jumping out and bumping GREEN PASSION (Gaurav Sapra) on his outside.
Cannon TargetCANNON TARGET (M.Krishna) sustained cut injuries on right hind inside pastern.
I Wanna FlyI WANNA FLY (S. Chandrashekar) jumped and swerved towards the left and did not raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Makar SankraantiTrainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.500/ for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge MAKAR SANKRAANTI. Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. MAKAR SANKRAANTI (G. Vijay) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. MAKAR SANKRAANTI (G. Vijay) pulled up lame on left fore limb. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

4 (59) THE GREY GASTON TROPHY - DIV.I
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1200M
Swift SwordJockey M. Madhu Babu, the rider of SWIFT SWORD, was severely reprimanded for shifting in and causing interference to MAYHEM (S. Shiva Kumar) before passing the red marker post.
Easy Rider(OL)It was observed during the race that Jockey M. D. Praveen, the rider of EASY RIDER, did not persevere in the last 300 Metres. Soon after the race the Jockey reported severe pain in his right arm and was immediately shifted to the hospital for suspected dislocation in his right shoulder. As a result of the above injury the Jockey was unable to assist the horse fully during the race and as such no further action was taken. Also as the Jockey had to be shifted to the hospital immediately he was unable to weigh in for the race and as such the horse was not disqualified for the race as per Rule No.177(d) of the BTC Rules of Racing.
Champions LeagueJockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting in and causing interference to ORO NEIRO (Malcolm Maseyk) approaching the 1000 Metres.

5 (60) THE KONARK PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45		 1400M
Maman MarvelPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Monnappa C.D to withdraw MAMAN MARVEL (D. Mahendran) on compassionate grounds.
MissiszippyJockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of MISSISZIPPY, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting in and bumping MR MAGIC (M. Madhu Babu) soon after the start and thereafter cutting across the field before passing the red marker. Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of MISSISZIPPY, was fined Rs.1,000/ for bumping MR MAGIC (M. Madhu Babu) on his outside in the final 50 Metres of the race.
Master ProspectAs Jockey M.D. Praveen was certified medically unfit to ride in the above race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey M.J. Gautam Raj Urs to ride MASTER PROSPECT in place of the declared rider

6 (61) THE SHUNTIKOPPA PLATE
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1200M
QuinnieQUINNIE (M. Krishna) reared up and fell in the paddock. On examination it was found to be trotting lame on right hind and as such it was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Orders. Trainer Mr. Surender G.T was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AshkanJockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of ASHKAN, was fined Rs.1,000/ for repeatedly looking back in the last 250 Metres for no apparent reason.
Leather QueenPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Monnappa C.D. to substitute Jockey M. Madhu Babu to ride LEATHER QUEEN in place of the declared rider.
