Explanation of Jockey A. Ramana (TASTE OF INDIA) that his instructions were to sit off the pace until 800 metres and then improve and to do his best in the straight. The Jockey further stated that his mount did not respond to his urgings in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer K.V. Srinivas whilst confirming the Jockeys statement stated that he was baffled with his charge’s dismal performance. Both Jockey A. Ramana and Trainer K.V. Srinivas’s explanations were noted for future reference.

Punjab Regiment	Jockey K. Ganesh (PUNJAB REGIMENT) fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting out soon after the start causing interference to OPULENCE (P. UDAY KIRAN) who in turn caused interference to VIJAY MARG (T.S. JODHA).
Kings Fortune	Jockey A. Imran Khan (KING’S FORTUNE) severely cautioned for shifting in at about 800 metres tightening FEARLESS FLAME (A. ABHINAY).

Olympic Kingdom	Jockey Harish (OLYMPIC KINGDOM) reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race, noted. Trainer S.A. Shehzad Abbas was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
Armstrong (O)	ARMSTRONG (APP. NITIN SINGH) slow out losing about 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked.
