App. R. Umesh (STAR FAVOURS) fined Rs. 1,000/ for shifting out whilst negotiating the final bend forcing out CHEROKEE FIGHTER (M.F. ALI KHAN) and PACIFIC GROOVE (P. KAMLESH). Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (CHEROKEE FIGHTER) that due to the fast initial pace he was unable to position his mount close up with the leaders and was forced to travel at the rear end of the field for the greater part of the race, noted.

Storm Force	STORM FORCE (HARISH) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
Party Doll	Jockey N. Rawal (PARTY DOLL) cautioned to ride out his mounts more vigorously to be well up with the field in future.
Secret Asset	SECRET ASSET (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) jumped out awkwardly and then not inclined to raise a fluent gallop in the early stages of the race inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next acceptance.
Miracle(OL)	MIRACLE (AADESH KUMAR) tried to run out soon after the start in the process lost considerable ground. Trainer T. Srinagesh was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

Zorbonaut	Jockey Ch K Chary (ZORBONAUT) fined Rs. 1,000/ for shifting in at about 1200 metres and then shift in again negotiating the final bend on both occasion causing causing interference to SPRINT CHAMP (R.B. SHINDE).
Manki	Jockey Daniel Grant (MAN OF THE MOMENT) cautioned for shifting in at about 400 metres taking the ground of ENCOUNTER (A. ABHINAY).
Sprint Champ	SPRINT CHAMP (R.B. SHINDE) jumped out awkwardly towards inside in the process causing a check to BARKHA RANI (R. LAXMIKANTH) inspite of the Jockeys efforts.
Barkha Rani	BARKHA RANI (R. LAXMIKANTH) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of a better performance before next acceptance. Jockey R. Laxmikanth (BARKHA RANI) reported loss of his whip at about 400 metres.

Leo Dvij	The Stewards suspended Jockey M. Krishna (LEO DVIJ) from riding in races with effect from 21st to 25th January, 2009 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift out negotiating the final bend forcing out SUPER BRAND (A. IMRAN KHAN) and then veered in at about 400 metres causing interference to HURRICANE BAY (T.S. JODHA) and FIRE BENDER (DANIEL GRANT). Permitted to ride work.
Vijaysamrat	Explanation of Jockey J.H. Christopher (VIJAYSAMRAT) that his mount tried to veer out at about 400 metres in the process causing interference to RUBEIN STEIN (APP. NITIN SINGH) and HURRICANE BAY (T.S. JODHA) inspite of his best efforts was accepted. However, Trainer S.S.F. Hassan advised to show his charge in a mock race before next acceptance. VIJAYSAMRAT (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) lost his left hind shoe during the race.
Blazing Bounty	Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (BLAZING BOUNTY) that he had followed the instructions of going to the front however the colt shortened his strides and fell back from about 300 metres inspite of his urgings, was confirmed by Trainer Laxman Singh. Both Trainer Laxman Singh and Jockey M.F. Ali Khan’s explanations were noted for future reference.
