Monte CarloAt the start, GLOWING STAR (P.Trevor, dr.6) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to ORIENTAL DAWN (B.Prakash, dr.7).

2 (257) THE INDIAN NAVY TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86		 1400M
EnlightenmentJockey Suraj Narredu (ENLIGHTENMENT) has been fined Rs.1000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Snow BlazeApp.Sandeep Jadhav (SNOW BLAZE) has been reprimanded for taking a long lead in the race, so much so that the colt fizzled out in the straight.

3 (258) THE JAYARAMDAS PATEL GOLD TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 2000M
Fortune HunterJockey Y.S.Srinath (FORTUNE HUNTER) has been fined Rs.3000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Cypress PointJockey P.Trevor (CYPRESS POINT) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being the fourth occasion on which the Jockey has committed a whip offence, the matter was reported to the Stewards. Consideration of the mater was deferred to a future meeting of the Stewards.

4 (259) THE MULRAJ GOCULDAS TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE		 1200M
OritoThe Clerk of the Scales reported that Jockey Y.S.Srinath, the declared Rider for ORITO, was weighing out 2 kg overweight when there was no prior permission sought. After enquiring, Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to obtain prior permission for his Jockey to carry overweight.
Silk CutSILK CUT (Imran Chisty) took a fly jump.Jockey Imran Chisty (SILK CUT) reported that his mount lugged in throughout the race, more so in the straight. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

5 (260) THE WESTERN INDIA RACE HORSE OWNERS` ASSOCIATION MILLION
TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD		 1400M
PortrushPORTRUSH (Imran Chisty) luggedin in the straight. The Trainer has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Star FutureAfter the race, STAR FUTURE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
WeizhouAfter the race, WEIZHOU was found to be sound.

6 (261) THE C.N. WADIA GOLD CUP (GR.2)
TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD		 2400M
AirplayAfter the race, AIRPLAY was found to be sound.

7 (262) THE LUFTHANSA-SENATOR JUVENILE MILLION
TERMS - 3 years old only		 1200M
Gold GlamourJockey D.K.Ashish (GOLD GLAMOUR) has been reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in under the use of the whip in the final stages of the race.
Secret HunterApproaching 800 metres, RELIC HUNTER (David Allan) was steadied as EDWINA (S.Zervan) made contact with AMAZING DESIRE (Suraj Narredu) and dropped back.
Hawk Of The Wind (O)HAWK OF THE WIND (C.Rajendra) did not get clear run between 400 metres and 300 metres.HAWK OF THE WIND (C.Rajendra) was placed fifth and ARMEL (P.S.Chouhan) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
ArmelAfter the race, ARMEL was observed to have lost his left hind plate. GRAND MARCH and HAWK OF THE WIND were found to be sound.
Forest LegionAt the start, FOREST LEGION (Imran Chisty, dr.4) jumped out awkwardly inwards and went on to POLAR ZONE (P.Trevor, dr.3) who in turn went on to ARMEL (P.S.Chouhan, dr.2).

8 (263) THE AEROSPACE TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26		 1400M
Dancing JennyAn enquiry has been initiated into the inconsistent performance of DANCING JENNY and a report will be submitted shortly.
RajdootJockey T.S.Jodha (RAJDOOT) reported loss of his whip near 200 metres. This being the second occasion of loss of whip, he has been fined Rs.1000/.
Wells FargoAfter the race, WELLS FARGO was found to be sound, having a cut injury above the left hock and at the left hind fetlock. Also, the mare had lost her left hind plate. ORIENTAL SAPPHIRE and SOLID ROCK were found to be sound.
Oriental SapphireShortly after the start ORIENTAL SAPPHIRE (D.K.Ashish) was steadied from the heels of RAJDOOT (T.S.Jodha). Near 400 metres ORIENTAL SAPPHIRE shifted out when struck with the whip.
Lola(O)After the race, LOLA was found to be sore by the right fore leg. Further, at the request of the Trainer, LOLA was scoped after the race at the Club’s Equine Hospital and found to have suffered EIPH Grade III. As such, the filly has been stopped from racing for the stipulated period of four weeks and until passed fit by the Club’s V.O.
FahrenheitAfter the race, FAHRENHEIT was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
