Christopher (CARTE BLANCHE) from riding in races with effect from 22nd to 24th January, 2009 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift in at about 400 metres in the process causing interference to NANO WAR (HARISH) racing on his inside. Permitted to ride work. Explanation of Jockey J.H. Christopher (CARTE BLANCHE) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd or 3rd which he had followed until entering into the straight but thereafter the gelding did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best efforts, was confirmed by Trainer D. Netto. Both explanations of Trainer and rider were noted for future reference. However the gelding has been sampled.
Power PlayTrainer K. Satheesh was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for the dismal performance of his charge POWER PLAY (S. SREEKANT).
