Bollywood DreamsThe explanation of Jockey Surjeet Singh, the rider of BOLLYWOOD DREAMS, that his mount was changing legs frequently right through the race, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage, was not accepted. An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of BOLLYWOOD DREAMS, trained by Mr. R Corner and ridden by Jockey Surjeet Singh and the Manager – Veterinary Services has been requested to examine the gelding and submit his report.
Tomahawk(OLD)Jockey R Ahmed, the rider of TOMAHAWK, reported that his mount was tending to run out approaching the 1200 metres and went onto the outer rails thereafter inspite of his best efforts, finishing the course as such, was noted. Tr. E Bhungard has been advised to show his charge to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race before next accepting with the gelding. The Manager – Veterinary Services has been requested to examine TOMAHAWK and submit his report.

Active AssetJockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SILVER PRINT, reported that his mount ran into the heels of ACTIVE ASSET (G Ross), clipping the latter and stumbling as the pace of the race slowed down 100 metres after the start, was noted.

Amorous StormAMOROUS STORM (R Ahmed) was very fractious at the gate and could not be loaded inspite of all efforts, as such the colt was permitted to be withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate of AMOROUS STORM has been revoked by the Starter.
Cambridge BlueFor running his charge CAMBRIDGE BLUE (Surjeet Singh) in shoes other than those declared, Trainer Sanjeev Charan was fined a sum of Rs. 250/. The Manager – Veterinary Services reported that CAMBRIDGE BLUE (Surjeet Singh) returned lame on his right fore. Tr. Sanjeev Charan has been advised not to accept with his charge till certified fit by the Manager – Veterinary Services.
Ambitious PrinceAMBITIOUS PRINCE (Salim Khan) was slow off losing about 6 to 7 lengths. Tr. T N Jaiswal has been advised to show his charge to the satisfaction of the Starter in a mock race before next accepting with the horse.
