The Gordian Knot	Jockey Rajinder, the rider of b f THE GORDIAN KNOT, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that the filly on jumping out of the gates momentarily refused to gallop and dropped back to last position, thereafter, it picked up the bit, raced genuinely and was comfortably placed throughout the race.
Fit For Fray	FIT FOR FRAY (D K Ashish) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.
Ijlal	IJLAL (S Domingo) was fractious in its stall.
River Warrior	Tr. Patrick Quinn when questioned regarding the performance of his charge b g RIVER WARRIOR in this race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 52 run on 8th December, 2010, stated that he was disappointed with its performance today, however, he was of the opinion that the gelding performed best when raced over a distance of a mile or above. His explanation was noted.
Best Of The Lot	For failing to produce the registered colours of the owner in respect of his charge BEST OF THE LOT, Tr. Jasbir Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 325/, subsequently ‘ALL BLACK’ emergency colours were permitted to be used. The Veterinary Officer reported that BEST OF THE LOT returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

High Roller	HIGH ROLLER (Shailesh Shinde) was fractious while being stalled.
Italian Striker	Jockey Sk Israil, the rider of ITALIAN STRIKER, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that the saddle used on the gelding slipped back soon after jumping out of the gates and as such he was unable to offer adequate assistance to his mount. Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs.500/ for the faulty saddling.
Successful (O)	b f SUCCESSFUL (Haroon Khan) which ran detached from the field was observed to have momentarily lost its hind footing soon after jumping out from the gates and approaching the 400 metres the filly received a check when RIVER PRIDE (P A Culhane) was making quick progress on its outside. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and not to accept with it until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

Rocket Ball	ROCKET BALL (C Alford) was fractious while being stalled.
Make My Day	Jockey B Mahesh, the rider of MAKE MY DAY, reported that his mount was inclined to run out during the final stages of the race.
Blue Mountain	BLUE MOUNTAIN (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.

Alienation	During the final stages of the race ALIENATION (D K Ashish) under pressure drifted `Inwards`
Amor Amor	AMOR AMOR (Kishore Kadam) and WHISTLING STRAIT (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

6	(72)	THE P C LALL OF NAZARGUNJ MEMORIAL CUP A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1200M

Pocket Rocket (O)	App Rajesh Ujgare, the rider of POCKET ROCKET, was fined a sum of Rs.1,000/ for traveling wide while rounding the bend for no apparent reason. The apprentice was further informed that repetition of a similar manner of riding would entail him to severe disciplinary action.
Thundering Hooves	THUNDERING HOOVES (Shailesh Shinde), ASIATIC STAR (P Kamlesh) and POCKET ROCKET (App Rajesh Ujgare) were fractious while being stalled.
Cairndhu	CAIRNDHU (Nirmal Jodha) and RECARDO (B Prakash) were slow to being losing approximately two lengths at the start.
Arkhos	The Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that ARKHOS returned lame on its right fore. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

7	(73)	THE NANOLI STUD CALCUTTA GOLD CUP (GR.2) TERMS - 3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1600M

Arabian Prince	In the concluding stages of the race, ARABIAN PRINCE (Paul Mulrennan) and RECORD BREAKER (Neeraj Rawal) drifted ‘outwards’ under pressure.
Silver Fox	SILVER FOX (C Alford) was slow to begin.
Cambiasso	For declaring wrong weights in respect of their charges CAMBIASSO trainers Mr. P Shroff were fined a sum of Rs. 500/ each.
Arun	For declaring wrong weights in respect of their charges FIST OF RAGE, Mr. J Babu Rao were fined a sum of Rs. 500/ each.
Rising Hero	For declaring wrong weights in respect of their charges RISING HERO, trainers Mr. Patrick Quinnwere fined a sum of Rs. 500/ each.

8	(74)	THE KABUKI CUP A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 85	1200M

Spectacular Style	Approaching the distance post in a closely bunched field SPECTACULAR STYLE (Paul Mulrennan) clipped the heels of FINFOOT (B Prakash), stumbled and dislodged its jockey. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race into the incident. At the enquiry the Stewards concluded that no blame could be attached to any jockey and the fall of Jockey Paul Mulrennan was found to be accidental, as such, the placing as announced by the Judge remained unaltered.
Mandira	MANDIRA (Shailesh Shinde) was fractious while being stalled.
Saarah Alam	SAARAH ALAM (Nirmal Jodha) was slow to begin.
