1 (9) THE KARIGHATTA PLATE- DIV.II
A Handicap for Horses rated 25 & BELOW		 1400M
Whisper ValleyJockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of WHISPER VALLEY, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post. Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of WHISPER VALLEY, was fined Rs.1,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b m WHISPER VALLEY.
AryanshARYANSH (Vivek) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped SPARK OF ZEAL (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Jockey Vivek, the rider ARYANSH, reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed to get it checked by his veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Do The MusicDO THE MUSIC (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained cut injury on right stifle.
Tropical FlyerJockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of TROPICAL FLYER, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight despite of his best efforts to keep it on an even course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. After examination of the mouth the Club?s Veterinary Officer reported that it was observed to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. M. Bobby was fined Rs.2,000/ for his negligence.
Halo Of SplendourThe Club?s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race it was observed that the right fore shoe of HALO OF SPLENDOUR (H.G. Rathod) had apparently splayed during the race. Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of HALO OF SPLENDOUR reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight and eventually finished the course on the outer sand track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to get it checked by his veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Spark Of ZealSPARK OF ZEAL (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) did not raise a fluent gallop during the early stages of the race. Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

2 (10) THE MYSORE PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45		 1600M
Miss RubyAn enquiry is held in to the running and riding of MISS RUBY trained by Mr. S. Ravi Shanker and ridden by Jockey A. Ashok Kumar. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey A. Ashok Kumar to the Stewards for riding an ill judged race (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount b f MISS RUBY in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 2752010 and 262010. They examined Jockey A. Ashok Kumar and Trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker. The Stewards after considering the evidence tendered by Jockey Ashok Kumar and trainer Mr. Ravi Shanker, acting on their on observation of the running of the race and after due deliberations unanimously concluded that Jockey A. Ashok Kumar was guilty of Contravention of Rule No.159(a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he did not permit his mount MISS RUBY to run on it merit in the above race and trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was guilty of contravention of Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing in not running his charge b f MISS RUBY on merits in the above said race. Therefore, the Stewards at their meeting held on Thursday, 27th May 2010, decided to give a fresh charge sheet to Jockey Ashok Kumar and a charge sheet to trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker asking them to appear before them on Wednesday, 9th June 2010 to be examined by them and the same was given. The Stewards at their Meeting held on 9th June 2010 examined trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker and Mr. S. Marshall, Spokesman for Jockey Ashok Kumar. After hearing the explanation tendered by trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker and Mr. S. Marshall and after detailed deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend the Trainer?s Licence granted to trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker from 2462010 to 482010 (both days inclusive) and report him to the Stewards of BTC for further action for not running his charge b f MISS RUBY run on its merit (Rule No.159(a); and (b) suspend the Jockey`s Licence granted to Jockey A. Ashok Kumar from 2462010 to 482010 (both days inclusive) and not permit him to ride work during the period of suspension and report him to the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., for further action for not permitting his mount MISS RUBY to run on its merit in the above race (Rule 159(a) and (b).
Leather QueenLEATHER QUEEN (D. Mahendran) sustained puncture wound on left fore outer cannon.
Majestic StridesMAJESTIC STRIDES (B. Mahesh) was slowly away, swerved towards the left and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

3 (11) THE KARIGHATTA PLATE- DIV.I
A Handicap for Horses rated 25 & BELOW		 1400M
Winning TaleTrainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.500/ for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge WINNING TALE (Ladjadj Stephane). Subsequently `All Black? emergency colours were permitted to be used.
Spark Of SymphonySPARK OF SYMPHONY (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 100 Metres.
Killer FootJockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of KILLER FOOT, was fined Rs.2,000/ for taking an unduly long lead between the 1000 Metres and 500 Metres for no apparent reason. Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of KILLER FOOT, was fined Rs.1,000/ for not exercising sufficient control over his mount thereby allowing it to drift out during the final stages of the race.
StckiewicketdotcomSTCKIEWICKETDOTCOM (G. Adarsh) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
Prowl KingPROWL KING (D. Mahendran) sustained cut injury on right hind coronet.

4 (12) THE BELOVED PRINCE PLATE

Nectar JewelRoutine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NECTAR JEWEL.
Danger DiabolicJockey Shadab Khan, the rider of DANGER DIABOLIC, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure in the final 50 Metres of the race.

Beauty On DutyRoutine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BEAUTY ON DUTY.
BriannstaJockey Noorulla, the rider of BRIANNSTA, was fined Rs.3,000/ for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. He was further informed in the presence of trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker that repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
Star Of ExcellenceAs Jockey M. Suresh was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey J. Paswan to ride STAR OF EXCELLENCE in place of the declared rider.

7 (15) THE MELUKOTE PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1200M
Simply DangerousTrainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.10,000/ for his negligence in accepting his charge SIMPLY DANGEROUS (J. Pradeep) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club?s Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.

Amazing FloraPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey J. Paswan to ride AMAZING FLORA in place of the declared rider. AMAZING FLORA (J. Paswan) took a fly jump.
Raging StarIt was reported after the race that RAGING STAR (A.R. Mani) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Z. Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club?s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Pokemon MasterJockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of POKEMON MASTER, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was informed to get it checked by his veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
