Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (SOUTHERN QUEEN) in the presence of Trainer Shamsuddin that his instructions were to sit 3rd or 4th which he followed up to about 1000 metres from where the filly started dropping back inspite of his efforts finishing at the rear end of the field was confirmed by the Trainer. Both Jockey M.F. Ali Khan and Trainer Shamsuddin’s explanations were noted for future reference.

Queens Fortune	Jockey S. Sreekant (QUEENS FORTUNE) fined Rs. 2,000/ for the tender handling of his mount throughout the race.
Chesapeake	Jockey Harish (CHESAPEAKE) fined Rs. 2,000/ for shifting in at about 800 metres causing interference to LALACZAR (T.S. JODHA) and for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

Vijaysamrat	Jockey Harish (VIJAYSAMRAT) reported loss of his whip at about 200 metres.
Kohinoor Fairytale	KOHINOOR FAIRYTALE (APP. NITIN SINGH) was denied a clear run soon after the start .
Opulence	Jockey R. Laxmikanth (OPULENCE) cautioned for losing position in the initial stages of the race. OPULENCE (R. LAXMIKANTH) was trotting lame on his left fore.

Air Bender(O)	An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of AIR BENDER.trained by Mr. S.S.F. Hassan and ridden by Jockey M. Krishna
Fair Touch	Jockey R. Laxmikanth (FAIR TOUCH) reported that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race. Trainer M. Sathyanarayana was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
Track Rule	Explanation of Jockey Aadesh Kumar (TRACK RULE) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop at any stage of the race, noted.
World Vision	Jockey A. Ramana (WORLD VISION) reported that he lost his left stirrup iron soon after jump out which he could regain after traveling about 400 metres.

Nandanvanaa	Jockey K. Anil (NANDANVANAA) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.
Gables	Explanation of Jockey Harish (GABLES) that his mount took a fly jump in the process lost about 2 to 3 lengths and thereafter did not raise fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his efforts, noted.
Freedom Lover	Explanation of Jockey Aadesh Kumar (RUBEN STEIN) in the presence of Trainer D. Netto that his instructions were to go to the front or sit second which he could follow until 400 metres and thereafter when asked to accelerate the gelding dropped the bit and fell back inspite of his efforts was not accepted, Both Trainer D. Netto and Jockey Aaadesh Kumar were informed the enquiry has been kept open. Subsequently the gelding has been sampled

Dancing Harbour	DANCING HARBOUR (R. LAXMIKANTH) refused to be stalled inspite of all efforts was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders. SSC revoked.
Lady In Limelight	LADY IN LIMELIGHT (LAXMAN) jumped out slowly losing about 2 to 3 lengths.
Storm Command	Explanation of Jockey Dominic R. Fox (STORM COMMAND) that his instructions were to position 4th or 5th which he could not follow as the filly was sluggish in the initial stages of the race, noted.
Stormy Gladiator	STORMY GLADIATOR (CH K CHARY) was tightened for room soon after the start.
Hunting Boy	Jockey M. Krishna (HUNTING BOY) cautioned for traveling wide for the greater part of the race.

Flying Rudolph

Explanation of Jockey Ch K Chary (FLYING RUDOLPH) that in trying to shift out at about 400 metres he accidentally clipped the heels of STAR COMPOSER (APP. NITIN SINGH) and thereafter his mount was hanging in inspite of his efforts, noted. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

Dorabella	DORABELLA (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) was forced to be checked and changed course at about 400 metres to avoid running into the heels of the front horse.
La Lapitus	LA LAPITUS (D. SINGH) was forced to be checked and lose position at about 1400 metres due to the crowding of the field.
Colourful	COLOURFUL (M.F. ALI KHAN) jumped out awkwardly towards outside in the process causing interference to ATTRACTRESS (HARISH) and STROKE OF LUCK (R.B. SHINDE) the latter losing position.

Classic Dancer	CLASSIC DANCER (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) stumbled soon after the start and dropped back for no apparent reason.
Amazing Act	Jockey S. Sreekant (AMAZING ACT) cautioned for shifting out soon after the start forcing out COLORADOS PRIDE (M.F. ALI KHAN).
