Senor SpeedyPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah to withdraw SENOR SPEEDY on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Forest RegentJockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of FOREST REGENT, was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement)).
EsmeraldoJockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of ESMERALDO, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting in and causing interference to MOUNTAIN OF JOY (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching the 150 Metres.

PotentialPOTENTIAL (Ahsan Qureshi) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

4 (167) THE HAPPY VALLEY PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 25 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1200M
Southern ImageSOUTHERN IMAGE (Afsar Khan) planted and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
I Fancy YouIt was observed that the saddle on I FANCY YOU (G. Adarsh) shifted towards the right totally unbalancing the rider thereby dislodging the rider within about 50 Metres of the start. AMAZING COLOUR (Ahsan Qureshi) which was travelling directly behind hit the rider of the prostrated horse. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that an enquiry would be held into the above incident with particular reference to the saddling of the horse.
Hiphip HurryTHUNDERING DON (Amyn Merchant) was extremely fractious and broke the stalls and bolted. On examination after apprehending the horse, it was found to have sustained a bleeding cut injury on its gum. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s Order.
Southern PearlJockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of SOUTHERN PEARL, was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting in and causing interference to THE FIRST BULLET (S. Mallikarjun) on his inside which in turn passed it on to SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) along the rails approaching the 1000 Metres.
The First BulletJockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, was reprimanded for inconveniencing SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) on his outside approaching the 250 Metres. Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET, was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount in the final 300 Metres (2nd infringement) whereby he could not exercise control over his mount inconvenienced SACHIMORE (M. Noornabi) on his outside.

5 (168) THE ASTRONOMIC PLATE (DIV- I)

ShahizaarRoutine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SHAHIZAAR.
La CliqueLA CLIQUE (J.H. Christopher) sustained a cut injury on her left hind cannon.

6 (169) THE BANGALORE ST. LEGER(Gr.2)

Sunnys SecretPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw SUNNYS SECRET (S. John) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflammed suspensory ligament. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Elite LandJockey A.M. Tograllu, the rider of ELITE LAND, reported that he accidentally hit the false rails approaching the 900 Metres whereby his right stirrup broke as such he had to ride without the aid of the equipment and could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter.
SunlightSUNLIGHT (Suraj Narredu) was observed to have been pulled up by the rider approaching the 800 Metres thereafter BERLUSCONI (Ryan Marshall) and XTREME (Y.S. Srinath) who were traveling behind had to be checked by their respective riders. On immediate examination Of SUNLIGHT it was found to have sustained fracture of right fore fetlock and hence was euthanized.

Gun SaluteAs Jockey G. Adarsh was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the 4th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey A.R. Pradeep to ride GUN SALUTE in place of the declared rider.
ArgentumIt was reported after the race that gr f ARGENTUM (C. Alford) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

9 (172) THE ASTRONOMIC PLATE (DIV-II)
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1400M
Smile All The WaySMILE ALL THE WAY (J.H. Christopher) ducked while the start was effected, dislodging the rider and planted in the gates and thereafter did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Chantilly JewelRoutine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CHANTILLY JEWEL.
Black Super StarPermission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey A.R. Pradeep to ride BLACK SUPER STAR in place of the declared rider. BLACK SUPER STAR (A.R. Pradeep) was observed to have been pulled up by the rider rounding the final bend and the rider dismounted approaching 350 Metres. On immediate veterinary examination, it was found to have sustained fracture of right fore fetlock and hence was euthanised.
