Jockey A. Imran Khan (GLOBAL STAR) cautioned for shifting in after the start taking the ground of GREATBALLOFCHINA (APP. R. UMESH). Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (GLOBAL STAR) in the presence of Trainer K. Satheesh that his instructions were to sit off the pace and then make move from about 600 metres and to do his best in the straight which he followed, however, his mount had not raised a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his urgings. Trainer K. Satheesh whilst confirming the Jockeys statement opined that GLOBAL STAR had the disadvantage of carrying top weight was noted for future reference.

Queen Of Sheeba	QUEEN OF SHEEBA (A. IMRAN KHAN) slow out losing about 2 to 3 lengths.
Ride To Glory	RIDE TO GLORY (P. KAMLESH) maintained an erratic course in the straight in the process shifted out taking the ground of PYTHAGORAS (A. ABHINAY) at about 200 metres.
A Fire Work	Jockey Aadesh Kumar (A FIRE WORK) cautioned for shifting out soon after the start onto RIDE TO GLORY (P. KAMLESH) who in turn shifted out causing a check to PYTHAGORAS (A. ABHINAY).
Dancing Fairy	DANCING FAIRY (R.B. SHINDE) did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race and trailed the field inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer Sk. Kassam was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of a better performance before next acceptance.

One Mission

Jockey A. Imran Khan (ONE MISSION) cautioned for shifting out at about 600 metres taking the ground of INDIAN DANCER (CH. K. CHARY). Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (ONE MISSION) that his instructions were to sit off the pace, gradually improve position from around 600 metres and ride out hands & heels and to avoid using the whip as the gelding tends to stop when subjected to the whip. The Jockey added that in order to carry out the instructions he had per force checked his mount soon after the start and dropped back and thereafter he had ridden out his mount to the best of his ability in the straight but gelding had not shown any turn of foot in the straight. Trainer K. Satheesh whilst confirming the Jockeys statement added that the gelding was running for the first time in his career over a distance of about 7 furlongs and the extra 200 metres to travel had not suited the gelding, was noted for future reference.

Abhinay (PAGE THREE) from riding in races with effect from 9th to 15th February, 2009 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he shifted in soon after start crowding and causing interference to LENAVI (APP. B. MUKESH), COGENT (APP. R. UMESH) and INDIAN ARCHER (APP. A. ASHHAD ASBAR). Permitted to ride work.
True Fashion	Jockey Sk. Sharookh (TRUE FASHION) cautioned for shifting in after the start taking the ground of PUNJAB REGIMENT (A. RAMANA).
Embattled(O)	Jockey Sk. Farookh (EMBATTLED) cautioned to maintain a straight course soon after the start in future.
Top Act	TOP ACT (M.F. ALI KHAN) was trotting lame on left fore.
Punjab Regiment	PUNJAB REGIMENT (A. RAMANA) lost his footing as the start was effected losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
Cogent	Explanation of App. R. Umesh (COGENT) that his instructions were to go to the front which he could not follow in the initial stages due to the interference received soon after the start, noted. App. R. Umesh was however cautioned for traveling wide until entering the straight.

Bold Blast	Explanation of Trainer D. Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge BOLD BLAST (N.M. SEQUEIRA) that his charge in his previous start i.e., in Race No. 165 had finished just 1 ¾ lengths behind the favourite ADMANT APPROACH who finished 5th whilst carrying ½ kg., more in contrast to the present start where ADAMANAT APPROACH was carrying 2 ½ kg., more and the extra furlong to travel had been to his charge’s advantage as such had gone onto win, noted.
Mission Chief	App. Nitin Singh (MISSION CHIEF) fined Rs. 1,000/ for shifting in at about 150 metres causing interference to YES ES YES SES (A. ABHINAY).
Turf Raider	TURF RAIDER (N. RAWAL) slowly off losing about 2 lengths and thereafter refused to raise a proper gallop inspite of the Jockeys efforts and then trailed the field. Trainer J. Silvester was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of a better performance before next acceptance.

Encounter (O)	ENCOUNTER (A. ABHINAY) was extremely fractious inside the stall in the process dislodged Jockey A. Abhinay who was subsequently declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted the gelding to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. SSC revoked.
Festivals Of India	FESTIVALS OF INDIA (A. RAMANA) and PACIFIC GROOVE (APP. R. UMESH) slow into stride losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.
Yours Mine N Ours	Explanation of Jockey Sk. Sharookh (SOUTHERN QUEEN) that his instructions were to sit 3rd, 4th or 5th which he could not follow as his mount was not inclined to raise a proper gallop inspite of his efforts, noted.
Azzax	Jockey M. Krishna (AZZAX) reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race in the process drifted out in the straight inspite of his efforts.
