Careerist	The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of CAREERIST, to the Stewards for failing to weigh in when he was placed IV in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey S. Mallikarjun. After deliberations, they decided to suspend him from riding in races from 10102009 to 6112009 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.178(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing (permitted to ride work).
Way To Wealth	Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of WAY TO WEALTH, was fined Rs.2,000/ for not fulfilling his riding engagement for the above race. Permission was thereby granted to trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi to substitute Jockey R. Ravi in place of the Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of WAY TO WEALTH, was fined Rs.2,000/ for not fulfilling his riding engagement for the above race. Permission was thereby granted to trainer Mr. P.C. Tejaswi to substitute Jockey R. Ravi in place of the declared rider.
Amatol	Jockey J. Rahul, the rider of AMATOL, was fined Rs.3,000/ for not making sufficient effort on his mount in the straight.
Aqua Gladitor	AQUA GLADITOR (A.R. Mani) sustained injury on right hind coronet.
Buck Passer Junior	BUCK PASSER JUNIOR (Ryan Marshall) swerved inwards soon after jump out and did not raise a fluent gallop in the first 100 Metres. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. The Stewards ordered and held an enquiry after the last race into the behaviour of BUCK PASSER JUNIOR trained by Mr. Warren Singh and ridden by Jockey Ryan Marshall. They interviewed trainer and the Jockey. After deliberations, they decided to note the explanations tendered by them.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey S. John. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey S. John from riding in races from 10102009 to 6112009 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.144(b)(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race (permitted to ride work).
Jericho (O)	An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of JERICHO trained by Mr. M. Pratap Kamath and ridden by Jockey Vijay Kumar.
Faction Leader	FACTION LEADER (Md. Kareem) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced CELTIC HEROINE (B. Prakash) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Pat On The Back	PAT ON THE BACK (Himanshu) sustained multiple injuries on left hind cannon region.

Superlativo

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar and Jockey S. John were questioned regarding the poor performance of SUPERLATIVO as compared to its previous run in Race No.53, The Fair Wood Plate (about) 1600 Metres when ridden by Jockey Afsar Khan it ran 3rd. The trainer stated that (a) the pace was too fast in this race; (b) he had given fast work 3 days prior to the race; (c) his charge had worked well; (d) he thought his charge should win on that particular fast work; and (e) he was surprised by the poor performance of his charge and could not attribute any specific reason. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer. Their explanations were noted. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g SUPERLATIVO.

Becket	Jockey C. Rajendra, the rider of BECKET, was fined Rs.5,000/ for shifting in and causing severe interference to FORGIVENFORGET (S. John) who had to check and fall back passing the 900 Metres. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dkb c BECKET
High Gleam	HIGH GLEAM (B. Prakash) sustained cut injuries on both hind back of gaskin (thigh region).
Black Beauty	BLACK BEAUTY (S.Rajesh) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
