Honest DesireIt was observed that HONEST DESIRE (P. Trevor) was squeezed between BHARAT (IndraJeet Singh) and EL ASESINO (Akshay Kumar) soon after the start. Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of HONEST DESIRE reported that soon after jumping out of the starting gates his mount threw its head up in the air whereby he got injured on his upper lip as such he could not ride from the desired forward position. His explanation was noted for future reference.

MagnusAn enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of MAGNUS in the above race. In that “he shifted ‘in’ sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; SNOWPIERCER (Akshay Kumar), IRISH ROCKSTAR (S. Saqlain) and BRAVE MAJESTY (Darshan R.N) before passing the red marker post and Jockey Y. S. Srinath did not take any corrective measures. The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Y. S. Srinath with effect from 12/12/2023 to 22/12/2023 (Both days inclusive) even though he did not pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount MAGNUS (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

Alex Rozario) had shifted forward at about 1300 Metres, in the process he inconvenienced DOUBLE SCOTCH (Rayan Ahmed R.) approaching 1100 Metres, as Jockey L. Alex Rozario had lost balance he had to remove his right stirrup passing the 800 Metres, which he regained approaching 500 Metres. Hence, Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.3,000/ for faulty saddling of his charge.

After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of PERFECT HALO was fined Rs.1,000/ not maintaining a proper course in the final 100 Metres, whereby he inconvenienced APOLLO LIGHT (Surya.P).
