1 (189) THE BADE MIYA TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 26		 2000M
AristocraticalARISTOCRATICAL (App.S.Zervan) luggedin in the straight. Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
On My Way(O)After the race, ON MY WAY was found to have an abrasion on the right side of his chest, ARISTOCRATICAL had an abrasion on the left hind fetlock and PERSIAN POWER had an abrasion on the left hind bulb of heel.
SaarahSoon after the start, SAARAH (Amyn Merchant) was tightened for room and lost position. After the race, SAARAH was found to be sore by the right fore leg. Also, the mare had an abrasion on the right side of her chest. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.
Rags To RichesRAGS TO RICHES (D.K.Ashish) was slow in the strides, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
LotharioNear 1800 metres, LOTHARIO (HG Rathod) was steadied and lost position.
Arabian ChiefNear 1200 metres, BLADES OF GLORY (Hanumant Singh) was tightened for room due to closely packed field. Near 1000 metres, BLADES OF GLORY was again tightened while racing on the inside of PERSIAN POWER (J. Pradeep). Since the incident was accidental no action has been initiated in this matter.

2 (190) THE MENORAH TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86		 1200M
SlickkitSLICKKIT (App.N.S.Parmar) was reluctant to be stalled inspite of all efforts. As such, the filly was withdrawn before coming under the Starter`s order. PREMIER PERCEPTION (Imran Chisty) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to mount. The mare reared up as the start was effected, thus losing about 4 lengths. Trainers Altamash Ahmed and Imtiaz A.Sait have been asked to show their respective charge to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race before next accepting to race.
Romantic ImpactPassing 600 metres, ROMANTIC IMPACT (App.D.S.Rathore) was hampered for a clear run when CARLOS (App.S.Zervan) shifted in. Again, passing 400 metres, App S Zervan (CARLOS) guided his mount inwards and took the running of ROMANTIC IMPACT who was forced to change course. App S Zervan was reported to the Stewards for Improper riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.
Premier QueenAt the start, Jockey Nirmal Jodha (PREMIER QUEEN) lost control over his mount who ducked in and carried DIVINE (F. Irani) inwards, who was checked. Jockey Nirmal Jodha has been reprimanded for not being alert at the Gates. After the race, PREMIER QUEEN was observed to have an abrasion on the right hind pastern and coronet and PREMIER PERCEPTION had an abrasion on the right hock medial. AMBEROGIO coughed during veterinary examination.
Beau MondeJockey H. G. Rathod (BEAU MONDE) reported that his mount hungin in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
AmberogioAMBEROGIO (R.Shelar) was also reluctant to be stalled. Tr.S.Mangalorkar has been asked to give the mare more gate practice before next accepting to race.

3 (191) THE CAPRICORN TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 1000M
Red ChiliPassing 800 metres, RED CHILI (C.S. Jodha) shifted in and took the running of FISH PILOT (App A Sandesh). Jockey C.S.Jodha has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
AflatoonWhile straightening for home, TITAN (Y.S.Srinath) shifted in and tightened RED CHILI (C.S.Jodha) who, while losing position, stumbled. Jockey YS Srinath has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Near 200 metres, TITAN (Y.S.Srinath) was checked to avoid clipping the heels of MYPETHONEY (App.Kavraj Singh) who had shifted out, due to which YOUNG OFFENDER (F Irani) shifted out and at the same time RED CHILI (C.S. Jodha) shifted inwards which resulted in YOUNG OFFENDER being checked by its Rider. Trainer Narendra Lagad and Jockey Y.s.Srinath were questioned regarding the running and riding of TITAN in this race. Trainer Lagad stated that TITAN is a front running horse and he had instructed the Jockey to hit the front or be well up. He said that the horse received bad interference at the start and being a front running horse and not being able to sit well up because of the interference, did not suit the horse. Further, coming into the straight, the horse was inconvenience by the front runner and the jockey had to stop riding momentarily. Also, after the race the Jockey had informed him that the horse was shying away from the kick back. Tr.Lagad added that in the previous outing the horse had won a race for maiden, 3yearold horses whereas this time the horse raced in an open Class IV race and was carrying top weight. Jockey Y.S.Srinath confirmed the instructions and added that after the interference at the start, the horse was not responding and was shying away from the kick back. Also, the horse had received in the straight.
MypethoneySoon after the start, MYPETHONEY (App.Kavraj Singh) shifted out with the Rider making no apparent effort to control his mount and carried TITAN (Y.S.Srinath) outwards, who jostled with PAPER KING (P.Kamlesh). App Kavraj Singh was reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.
Wings Of AngelsIn the final stages of the race, WINGS OF ANGELS (App Ishwar Pardeshi) was held up for a clear run while racing behind TITAN (Y.S.Srinath).
StefanoJockey Zameer Sayyed (SARDINIA) has been cautioned for travelling wide during the race for no apparent reason.
AccurizeACCURIZE (R.Shelar) was reluctant to be stalled and was restless in the Gates and not allowing its Rider to mount. TITAN (Y.S.Srinath) stood awkwardly in its Stall thereby not allowing its Rider to mount. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to show his charge ACCURIZE in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race and Trainer Narendra Lagd has been asked to give his charge TITAN more Gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

4 (192) THE AMOROUS KNIGHT TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1000M
RubidiumAt the request of Trainer Nana Raghunath, RUBIDIUM was examined by the Club`s Sr. VO on 04/10/09 at 0900 hours and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.
BellaAfter the race, BELLA was observed to have an abrasion on both the hind fetlocks and FIERY FOX had an abrasion on the right hind bulb of heel.
Wild TorronaadoWILD TORRONAADO (App.D.S.Rathore) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to give the filly more Gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race. At the start, WILD TORRONAADO (App D. S. Rathore) jumped out awkwardly and as the filly was being steadied, she shifted in and hampered the running of HIGHLAND FLAME (App Ishwar Pardeshi) who in turn shifted in and inconvenienced CARAMEL (T.Atul). Travelling some distance from the start, WILD TORRONAADO shifted out and jostled with BELLA (App N. S. Parmar). Since App DS Rathore had made efforts to control the filly, no action has been initiated against the Jockey.
Appreciate (O)After the race, APPRECIATE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.

5 (193) THE CASINO ROYALE INDIAN ST. LEGER (GR.1)
TERMS - 4 years old only		 2800M
Saddlers RuleSADDLERS RULE (Imran Chisty) was placed fifth by the Judge.

6 (194) THE PELICAN TROPHY
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1400M
Prince CyrusAt the request of Trainer Dallas Todywalla, BALA`S BEST was examined by the Club`s Sr. VO on 03/10/09 at 0800 hours and was found to be going short by the left fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club`s VO before next accepting to race.
Sea WarriorSEA WARRIOR (Imran Chisty) was observed to have raced green in the straight and in the final furlong the gelding shifted out under use of the whip and made contact with SUPREME EMPEROR (B. Prakash). As such, Jockey Imran Chisty has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. In the final stage, SEA WARRIOR (Imran Chisty) shifted in on its own and was awkwardly placed behind the heels of TRACK THUNDER (Wayne Smith) and was checked by its Rider.
KrugKRUG (App.S.Zervan) was reluctant to reach the Starting Gates. Trainer P Shroff has been asked to school the gelding to reach the Starting Gate in time. At the start, App. S. Zervan (KRUG) lost his right stirrup which he regained shortly.
Tornado ForcePassing 800 metres and again near 600 metres, RIVER FORCE (D. K. Ashish) shifted in and brushed the rails. The Sr.V.O. was requested to examine the gelding and he reported that no abnormality was detected.

7 (195) THE PENNYWISE TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1400M
Free SpiritAt the start, FREE SPIRIT (App S Zeran) was tightened as ASCLEPIEION (Vikram Jodha) lugged in and lost its position. Travelling some distance further, ASCLEPIEION was tightened while racing on the inside of ARBUDH (Vivek) and lost position.
Monarchos(O)Near 300 meters, MONARCHOS (D.A.Naik) ducked in and tightened ADAM`S PLEASURE (Y.S.Srinath) on to FREE SPIRIT (App.S.Zervan) who was turned sideways due to the impact. Since Jockey D.A.Naik was not alert enough to control the horse, he has been fined Rs.3,000/
AsclepieionAfter the race, ASCLEPIEION was found to have an abrasion on the right fore fetlock.
My CelinaPassing 1200 metres, RATNAVALI (App Kavraj Singh) was tightened for room due to a closely packed field and lost position.
