Vijays Splendour	VIJAYS SPLENDOUR (DEEP SHANKER), TRICKS OF GOLD (APP. AJIT KUMAR) , TRUE HAVEN (M.F. ALI KHAN) and SYMBOL OF VICTORY (C. HENRIQUE) trailed the field for the greater part of the race. Trainers Laxman Singh, A. Vatsalya, Faiyaz Shaikh and Anupam Sharma were advised for better performance before next acceptance.

Explanation of Jockey B. Sreekanth (SNOW BIRD) that his instructions were to position his mount 4th or 5th until entering the straight as such he did not not ride out his mount vigorously in the initial stages of the race was confirmed by Trainer K. Satheesh and noted for future reference.

Always Bullish

Explanation of Jockey P.S. Chouhan (ALWAYS BULLISH) that his mount held the bit on the left and veered out 100 metres after the start onto the monsoon track inspite of his efforts and he had great difficulty in bringing him back to race on an even keel from about the 800 metres and thereafter the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight. Trainer D. Netto whilst confirming the Jockeys statement added that the gelding has the tendency of getting keen and bolts away when shown day light and other than that he had no plausible explanation to offer. Both the Jockeys and Trainers explanations were noted. Trainer D. Netto was however advised to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next acceptance.

Devils Advocate	DEVIL’S ADVOCATE (R. LAXMIKANTH) tried to run out for the greater part of the race inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer J. Silvester was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
Seno Rita	SENO RITA (N. RAVINDER SINGH) jumped out awkwardly in the process losing about 2 to 3 lengths. Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to show his charge at the gates before next acceptance.
