Dior	DIOR (App Santosh G) luggedout in the straight and went across ZAAGROS (Akshay Gaikwad) who had to change course inwards. Trainer Bezan Chinoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Two Oceans	Near 200 metres, TWO OCEANS (A Sandesh) put in an awkward stride and was unbalanced and shiftedin due to which ANNABETH (C S Jodha) who was following was steadied momentarily. After the race, TWO OCEANS & ANNABETH were found to be sound. WITHOUT FEAR was sound having a cut injury on the leftfore bulb of heel. AMAYA was sound having a cut injury on leftfore fetlock. MINSTREL SON was examined at the stables on 11/08/14 and was found to be sound.
Minstrel Son	At the start, MINSTREL SON (HA Sachin) jumped awkwardly inwards and went on to WITHOUT FEAR (App DS Daman).

Stormyday	At the start, STORMYDAY (CS Jodha) jumped out awkwardly. STORMYDAY (CS Jodha) leaned inwards in the straight. Trainer HJ Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, STORMYDAY was found to be sound having wolf tooth on both the sides of its mouth. Trainer HJ Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Skywalk	SKYWALK (Anil Baandal) luggedout while negotiating the bend. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Negredo	After the race, NEGREDO & SKYWALK were found to be sound.

The Unicorn	At the request of Trainer P Shroff, THE UNICORN was examined at 1240 hours on 08/08/2014 and was found to be sore by the right fore leg as such the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Angel Of Love	At the start, SECRET OATH (S Sunil) jumped out awkwardly. SECRET OATH (S Sunil) luggedout in the straight. Trainer Faisal A Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. After the race, SECRET OATH was found to be sound. ULRIKA was found to be sound having a cut injury on the left hind bulb of heel.

4	(47)	THE GOODNESS GRACIOUS PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1400M

Papakura	Jockey P Trevor (PAPAKURA) reported that his saddle slipped to the left side, as such Trainer S S Shah has been fined Rs 2.000/. Trainer S S Shah was questioned regarding the comparative performance of his charge PAPAKURA as compared to its earlier run in Race No 23 run on 2nd August 2014 where the gelding was unplaced as compared to its run today which the gelding won. It was pointed out to the Trainer that the gelding finished 6th about 12 lengths behind the winner. The Trainer stated that after the last run during the Mumbai Meeting, the gelding was sore from the right fore leg and had undergone treatment. He added that he had not given any pace work to the gelding coming into its first run in Race No 23. Further, considering the unsoundness of the gelding, he was unsure whether he should run or not. Therefore, he took a chance to race him over 1200 metres. Since the gelding returned sound after the first race, he decided to race him today as it was a restricted race for 5 year old over 1400 metres which was the only such race during the current Pune Meeting. In his opinion, MOON SHADOW, the favourite in this race would be too good. To another question he stated that he had not fancied the gelding as it was available at longer odds. The explanation of the Trainer was noted.
Moon Shadow	After the race, MOON SHADOW & SET TO FLY were found to be sound. IN THE LIMELIGHT was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit to race by the club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Dictator(O)	Near 500 metres, DICTATOR (D K Ashish) shiftedin on to MONZA (Kavraj Singh), who in turn went in on to SET TO FLY (P Kamlesh). Jockey D K Ashish has been cautioned.
Monza	MONZA (Kavraj Singh) was held up for a clear run in the final stages of the race.

6	(49)	THE PUNE BOOKMAKERS` ASSOCIATION TURF CLUB TROPHY (GR.3) TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1400M
			3.30 P.M.

Amelia	At the request of Trainer P Shroff, AMELIA was examined at 1245 hours on 08/08/2014 and was found to be sore by the right hind leg as such the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Supreme Star	Near 200 metres, SUPREME STAR (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out and went on to HEAT WAVE (C S Jodha), who shifted out and tightened STARRY EYES (P Kamlesh) on to COMMANDER (N S Parmar), who itself had leaned inwards at that stage. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been fined Rs.3,000/ and severely cautioned for the future.

Zoltan

Near 500 metres, ZOLTAN (App. Yash Narredu) lugged inwards, instead of correcting his mount, App. Yash Narredu rode his mount while being placed on the outside of DARK WILLIAM (Shrikant Kamble), which resulted in ZOLTAN making contact with DARK WILLIAM twice. As such App. Yash Narredu has been fined Rs.3,000/ and severely cautioned for the future. Trainer Mrs Nina M Lalvani has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

Zumi Zumi

Jockey P Trevor (ZUMI ZUMI) reported that his mount was inclined to lugout during the race. Trainer S S Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. After the race, ZUMI ZUMI was found to be sound.

Palace Girl	Passing 400 metres, PALACE GIRL (V Chandrakant) shifted in and hampered the running of YARDSTICK (S P Ranjane). Jockey V Chandrakant has been reprimanded.
Yardstick	After the race, YARDSTICK was sound having lost its left hind plate. VICTOIRE & AFFIRMATION were sound. ACT OF VALOUR & PALACE GIRL were examined at the stables on 11/08/14 and were sound.
Shaughnessy	Near 200 metres, SHAUGHNESSY (A Sandesh) was inconvenienced as ACT OF VALOUR (S Mosin) shifted ground inwards as the gelding lugged in and continued to do so in the straight. Trainer SK Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Mountain Song	Soon after the start, MOUNTAIN SONG (Hanumant Singh) was steadied as YARDSTICK (SP Ranjane) shifted inwards. Jockey SP Ranjane has been cautioned.

Lucky Charm	At the start, LUCKY CHARM (Dashrath Singh) travelled wide. Approaching 600 metres, LUCKY CHARM (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and tightened DIVINE WISH (A Sandesh) on to IN TIME (App R Ajinkya). On questioning, Jockey Dashrath Singh reported that his mount ran green during the race and had itself shifted in. The matter has been reported to the Stewards
Divine Wish	After the race, DIVINE WISH was sound. LUCKY CHARM was sound having abrasion on the left hind fetlock.
Thunder Star	At the start, THUNDER STAR (S Mosin) stumbled.
Maqsad	MAQSAD (Vikram Jodha) was restless in its stall. Trainer MK Jadhav has been asked to give the gelding more Gate practice and show to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race the gelding.
Pretty In Patpong	Passing 1000 metres, PRETTY IN PATPONG (Hanumant Singh) travelled wide due to which OCEAN STAR (Akash Agarwal) travelled wide. Also IN TIME (App R Ajinkya) travelled wide due to which DIVINE WISH (A Sandesh) travelled wide. At this stage, LUCKY CHARM (Dashrath Singh) shied away from the horses on its inside and travelled wider.
Feisty Lass	At the start, EARTH TAMER (CS Jodha) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to AFFIRMATION (NS Parmar) who in turn made contact with FEISTY LASS (J Chinoy) who in turn went out on to MONTERAY (Kishore Kadam). COME ALIVE (HA Sachin) jumped out awkwardly.
