1	(202)	THE VENUS ARISING TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	1600M

Walk Of Life	Jockey NS Parmar (WALK OF LIFE) has been cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the home stretch.
Daughterofdestiny	Approaching 800 metres, DAUGHTEROFDESTINY (C S Jodha) shifted in and tightened MARUDHARA RATAN (D K Ashish) and in turn caused interference to KIMAYA (V Chandrakant). Jockey CS Jodha has been fined Rs.2000/.
Razmaden	After the race, RAZMADEN were found to be sound.
Starlit Princess	After the race, STARLIT PRINCESS was observed to have broken a blood vessel. Being a second time bleeder, the filly is not to race for the stipulated period of eight weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Tapitsfly	Trainer Uday Bhan Singh has been fined Rs.1000/ for failing to produce the registered colours for his charge TAPITSFLY (P.S.Chouhan). The Jockey wore Emergency Colours i.e. All Black. After the race, TAPITSFLY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and was also sore by the right fore leg. The mare is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Ijlal	App M A Roushan (IJLAL) has been fined Rs.1000/ for shifting in before the Red Marker.
Sabanero	After the race, SABANERO was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Reinstate	Approaching 1400 metres, REINSTATE (App P Trevor) moved outwards and inconvenienced STARLIT PRINCESS (Y S Srinath) who in turn inconvenienced MARUDHARA RATAN (D K Ashish) who passed it on to SABANERO (T S Jodha) and steadied. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take rremedial measures before next accepting to race. App P Trevor (REINSTATE) reported that his horse was hanging out throughout the race more so approaching the final bend as the horse began to weaken. After the race, REINSTATE were found to be sound.

2	(203)	THE F.A. & K.A. IRANI TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86	1200M

Superior Quest	Jockey A Imran Khan (SUPERIOR QUEST) has been fined Rs.1000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount and has further been cautioned for using the whip with excessive force.
River Star	RIVER STAR (App P Trevor) hung out for a brief period soon on entering the straight. Trainer SK Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. App P Trevor (RIVER STAR) reported that his horse was hanging out entering the straight and further in the straight hence in order to correct his mount he used his whip in excess.
Silver Sands	SILVER SANDS (Dashrath Singh) hung inwards in the straight. Trainer Imtiaz A Sait has been asked to take rremedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. After the race, SILVER SANDS was found to be sound.
Amberogio	After the race, AMBEROGIO was found to be sore by the right fore leg and SUPERIOR QUEST was found to be sore by the left hind leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

3	(204)	THE INDICTMENT TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1400M

Mystic Quest	After the race, MYSTIC QUEST were found to be sound.
Ming	At the start, MING (App Kavraj Singh) jumped out awkwardly to the outside and bumped HARMONICA (Imran Chisty). Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against anyone.
Moon Flower	After the race, MOON FLOWER were found to be sound.

4	(205)	THE PRUDENTIAL CHAMP TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	2400M

Sol	The saddle on SOL (F Irani) slipped soon after the start and near 2000 metres the Jockey was dislodged. Trainer Uday Bhan Singh has been fined Rs.2000/ for faulty saddling of his charge.
Desert Dynamite	At the request of Trainer Nirad Karanjawala, DESERT DYNAMITE was examined at 1700 hours on 08/10/2010 and found to have a deep incised would at the back of the right hind hock. As such, the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the horse from the Club’s Sr.V.O before next accepting to race.
Mia Stella	The saddle on MIA STELLA (Neeraj Rawal) slipped forward during the race, as such Trainer CD Katrak has been fined Rs.2000/ for faulty saddling of his charge. After the race, MIA STELLA was found to be sound.
Oriental Magic	At about 800 metres, BLUE MELLON (S Sunil) shifted out and made contact with ORIENTAL MAGIC (Ishwar Pardeshi) who in turn went out on to TARA (C S Jodha). On questioning, Jockey S Sunil explained that ARBUDH (App Kavraj Singh) slowed down at that stage and he had no room to maneuver and had to shift out. After the race, GRANADOS was observed to have an abrasion on the left hind bulb of heel and ORIENTAL MAGIC had a gum injury.

5	(206)	THE JIMMY UMRIGAR TROPHY TERMS - 3 years old only	1400M

Elizabeth	Near 1200 meters, EVANGILIST (F Irani) was tightened and steadied and lost position and in the process dropped back thereby hampered the running of ELIZABETH (B Prakash) who was steadied.
Flashing Sword	Jockey J Chinoy (FLASHING SWORD) reported that his mount was inclined to lug in. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take rremedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Money Flash	Jockey Zameer Sayyed (MONEY FLASH) reported that his filly hung in throughout the race. Trainer DJ Surti has been asked to take rremedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Indian Chief	Near 1000 metres, INDIAN CHIEF (Towfeeq Shaikh) drifted out alarmingly and went along side the Outer rails. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race. After the race, INDIAN CHIEF was found to have a gum injury. FLASHING SWORD & MONEY FLASH were found to be sound.

6	(207)	THE VOLKSWAGEN INDIA TROPHY (DIV.I) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M

Cape Ferrat	Approaching 800 metres, CAPE FERRAT (C Alford) shifted out as the gelding was being steadied and shifted out and forced GAME OF POWER (D Akkshay) to shift who in turn made contact with KHURASANIYAH (App M A Roushan). Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against anyone.
Lord Of Killarney	Passing 200 metres, LORD OF KILLARNEY (S Sunil) shifted in under the use of the whip and tightened AQUALINA (Y S Srinath) due to which Jockey YS Srinath could not ride out for a fair bit of distance in the straight. Jockey S Sunil has been reported to the Stewards who deferred the consideration of the matter to the next meeting.
Khursaniyah	After the race, KHURSANIYAH were found to be sound.
Game Of Power	After the race, GAME OF POWER were found to be sound.
Sterling Silver	At the start, STERLING SILVER (Towfeeq R Shaikh) drifted out and bored KHURSANIYAH (App MA Roushan) for some distance and after moving away from each other, KHURSANIYAH shifted in and jostled with STERLING SILVER. The matter has been reported to the Stewards who deferred the consideration of the matter to the next meeting. After the race, STERLING SILVER was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

7	(208)	THE NANOLI STUD PUNE DERBY (GR.1) TERMS - 3 years old only	2000M

No More Politics	Jockey C Rajendra (OCEAN AND BEYOND) has been fined Rs.1000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Su Chaliyo	SU CHALIYO (Imran Chisty) was placed fifth and LIGHT MY WAY (Y.S.Srinath) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Bold Dancer	On arrival at the Starting Gates, BOLD DANCER was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. and certified fit to race. After the race, BOLD DANCER was found to be sound, having a cut injury on the right hind coronet and hock.
Ocean Emperor	Passing 600 metres, OCEAN EMPEROR (D K Ashish) shifted in and caused ZAFAYONA (C Alford) to shift in and in turn caused interference to STAR WARRIOR (M NArredu) who while dropping back inconvenienced LIGHT MY WAY (Y S Srinath). Jockey D K Ashish has been fined Rs 3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Scionic	After the race, SCIONIC was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

8	(209)	THE NOSHIR & DOLLY DHUNJIBHOY SPRINT MILLION TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1200M

Ikaria	Jockey B Prakash (IKARIA) reported that his mount did not get a clear run for the most part of the straight while racing behind FOREST FLAIR (A Imran Khan) and EL TROPICO (App P Trevor).
Arts	Jockey M Narredu (ARTS) reported that his mount was inclined to run out in the straight. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. After the race, ARTS was found to be sound.
Sea Ruler	SEA RULER (Neeraj Rawal) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to give the colt more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter, at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

9	(210)	THE PUNE POLICE COMMISSIONER`S TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1600M

Rose Bowl	At the request of Trainer Uday Bhan Singh, ROSE BOWL was examined at 1830 hours on 09/10/2010 and found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Amouresque	Near 1400 metres, SEA SHOWER (C Rajendra) was checked when AMOURSEQUE (P Kamlesh) shifted in. Thereafter, near 1100 metres, SEA SHOWER (C Rajendra) was again steadied. The Jockey explained that at that stage, his mount became keen and due to him having horses on his side and front, he had no option but to check his mount. Not being entirely satisfied with the explanation of the Jockey an Enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SEA SHOWER and a report will be submitted shortly.
Ancient Wonder	Trainer Mansoor Shah was questioned with regard to the poor performance of ANCIENT WONDER. The Trainer stated that the instruction were not to go to the front but sit comfortably anywhere, ride his own race and to do his best. He added that this was the first run of the gelding here and the horse had a Mock race and had worked well too on the basis of which he had fancied the gelding. On a request, the Sr.V.O. reported that ANCIENT WONDER had returned sore by the right fore leg after the race, as such, no further action was initiated in the matter. After the race, ANCIENT WONDER was found to be sore by the right fore leg. Also, the gelding had an abrasion on the left hind fetlock. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Caustic Finale	CAUSTIC FINALE (App.M.A.Roushan) jumped out slowly, losing about 5 lengths at the start. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

10	(211)	THE VOLKSWAGEN INDIA TROPHY (DIV.II) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M

Royal Connection	At the request of Trainer Damodaran D.Pillai, ROYAL CONNECTION was examined at 0800 hours on 10/10/2010 and found to have a painful swelling around the right eye as a result of an injury in the stable. As such, the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the horse from the Club’s Sr.V.O. before next accepting to race.
Arshavin	After the race, ARSHAVIN was found to be sound.
Full Throttle	FULL THROTTLE (I.Shaikh) was slow in the strides and thereafter did not raise an effective gallop. Trainer Vinay Lagad has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
