1	(309)	THE R. R KOMANDUR PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	2000M

Fire Vault

When questioned, Jockey Imran Chisty (FIRE VAULT) stated that he was asked to go to the front and be about 2 lengths ahead of the field and ride his race. He added that he was in front and had ridden as per the instructions. To another question he stated that he had realized that the pace of the race was slow but if he had taken a longer lead and lost the race he would have been hauled up for taking a large break. Not being satisfied with the explanation of the Jockey, he has been cautioned for riding an illjudged race.

2	(310)	THE STAR PRINCESS PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	1200M

Uproar	App A.Sandesh (UPROAR) has been cautioned for shifting in soon after the start.
Untouched	UNTOUCHED (App.D.S.Rathore) was reluctant to be stalled. NURAI (App.Shammi Khan) jumped out awkwardly throwing its head up. FLUENT VICTORY (Nitin Singh) jumped out slowly, losing about 3 lengths at the start. Trainers H.J.Antia, Magansingh P.Jodha and Narendra Lagad have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and to show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. UNTOUCHED (App.D.S.Rathore) lugged out in the straight. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. In the final 200 metres, UNTOUCHED (App.D.S.Rathore) shifted ground under the use of the whip and jostled with BALLAD OF GLORY (S.P.Ranjane). App.D.S.Rathore has been fined Rs.5000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. After the race, UNTOUCHED was observed to have a gum injury due to loose tooth. BALLAD OF GLORY & HOUDINI were found to be sound.
Nurai	App.Shammi Khan (NURAI) reported that his mount jumped out awkwardly at the start and threw its head up and he was hit on the face due to which he became unbalanced. Further, it was observed that the saddle on NURAI had also slipped back during the race. Considering the manner in which the horse had behaved after the jump out and also that the filly was strapped with a Breastplate, no action was initiated against anyone.
Fluent Victory	After the race, FLUENT VICTORY was found to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

3	(311)	THE PREMIER CLASSE PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (4 years old only)	1400M

Sol	At the request of Trainer S.S.Shah, SOL was examined in the Saddling Enclosure at 1515 hours on the race day (11/04/2010) and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the colt was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Steely Dan	Soon after the start, STEELY DAN (App.P.Trevor) became unbalanced.
Ariane	After the race, ARIANE was observed to have an abrasion on the left hind fetlock and pastern

5	(313)	THE SATINELLO TROPHY TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1400M

Applaud	At the request of Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait, APPLAUD was examined at 1030 hours on the race day (11/04/2010) and was found to be sore by the right hind leg. As such, the colt was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Rigel	RIGEL (C.Ruzaan) was slow in the stride, losing about a length at the start. Near 200 metres, RIGEL (C.Ruzaan) was inconvenienced while racing on the inside of LEGIONNAIRE (Imran Chisty).
Small Treasure	Jockey Amyn Merchant (SMALL TREASURE) has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to continue making an effort till past the post thereby losing the fourth place.
Halo Of Fame	HALO OF FAME (A.M.Tograllu) was reluctant to reach the starting point and thereafter was restless in the stall. The filly has to be given more gate practice and shown to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. HALO OF FAME (A.M.Tograllu) hung out in the straight and carried THUNDER STRIKE (B.Prakash) outwards and then continued to hang out till the Post. After the race, HALO OF FAME was found to be sound, having an abrasion on the right hind pastern. RIGEL was found to be sound.

6	(314)	THE GOOL S POONAWALLA MILLION (GR.3) TERMS - 3 years old only	1200M

Superior Quest	SUPERIOR QUEST (A.Imran Khan) hung out in the straight. Jockey A.Imran Khan reported that he had to use his whip in excess of the prescribed limit as a corrective measure. Trainer Karthik G. has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Keringdingan	Jockey Y.S.Srinath (KERINGDINGAN) has been fined Rs.3000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Viva La Diva	VIVA LA DIVA (C.Rajendra) and SERENITY (B.Prakash) were inclined to lug out in the final 200 metes. Trainers Faisal A Abbas and M.K.Jadhav have been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race their respective charges.
Star Empire	After the race STAR EMPIRE, RAIN FOREST, SERENITY, KERINGDINGAN, HOTTIE and SUPERIOR QUEST were found to be sound. SUPERIOR QUEST did not allow to check its mouth. STAR EMPIRE (Imran Chisty) was placed fifth and DELPHI (C.Ruzaan) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Pure Power(O)	At the start, PURE POWER (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and carried KERINGDINGAN (Y.S.Srinath) who in turn went on to STAR EMPIRE (Imran Chisty). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Hottie	At the start, HOTTIE (App.D.S.Rathore) was eased off the heels of VIVA LA DIVA (C.Rajendra) and caused DELPHI (C.Ruzaan) to shift out, who in turn caused RAIN FOREST (Kishore Kadam) to shift further out. Near 700 metres, HOTTIE (App.D.S.Rathore) dropped back and made contact with the rails and became unbalanced and in the process of being steadied, lost position causing Jockey C.Ruzaan (DELPHI), who was following, to take evasive action and shift out, who in turn jostled with RAIN FOREST (Kishore Kadam) who became unbalanced and dislodged its Rider.

Scholar	After the race, SCHOLAR was observed to have lost his right hind plate.
Lago Medio	Soon after the start, LAGO MEDIO (Amyn Merchant) lugged in and inconvenienced GENERALISSIMO (App S Zervan).Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Polariser	POLARISER (App.A.Sandesh) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

8	(316)	THE FRIDA KAHLO PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 19	1000M

Tease Me	GYPSY QUEEN was not permitted to be Declared to Start as the mare was on a Veterinary ban.
Mischevious Z	The Saddle on MISCHEVIOIUS Z (App.P.Trevor) was observed to have slipped back during the race. Since the saddle was adjusted at the Gates, no action was taken against Trainer Mansoor Shah beyond advising him to use Breastplate on his charges.
Morality	At the request of Jockey D.K.Ashish, the saddle on his mount MORALITY was readjusted at the starting gates. The girth of MISCHEVIOUS Z (App.P.Trevor) was checked and the surcingle was tightened.
