1	(205)	THE VOLKSWAGEN INDIA TROPHY -DIV-II A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 26	1200M

Dancing Money	At the start, DANCING MONEY (App Shammi Khan) jumped out awkwardly due to which the Appremtice lost his right stirrup which he regained shortly. App. Shammi Khan (DANCING MONEY) has been reprimanded for standing up on his stirrups before passing the Post. Trainer D. J. Surti was questioned with regard to the comparative performance of his charge DANCING MONEY, which the filly won today. Tr.Surti stated that he did not fancy the horse at all and added that he had claimed an allowance of 5 kg today which may have helped the horse. The explanation was noted. After the race, DANCING MONEY, SALAWATI, SECRET AFFAIR and ABOVE ALL were found to be sound.
The First Lady	Jockey K.P.G. Appu (THE FIRST LADY) has been cautioned for shifting in soon after the start.
Salawati	Jockey S. Sunil (SALAWATI) has been fined Rs. 500/ for not wearing his goggles during the race.
The Rebel (O)	Approaching 200 metres, THE REBEL (App A Sandesh) shifted out and inconvenienced and carried GREY ISLAND (CS Jodha) outward. App A Sandesh has been asked to exercise greater care. At the start, THE REBEL (App.A.Sandesh) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and went on to SECRET AFFAIR (Wayne Smith) who in turn went on to SALAWATI (S. Sunil).
Grey Island	GREY ISLAND (C.S.Jodha) jumped out slowly, losing about 4 lengths at the start. Tr.Magansingh P.Jodha has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Morality	At the start, MORALITY (T. Atul) shifted in and made contact with BEACON LIGHT (Nirmal Jodha).

2	(206)	THE JIMMY UMRIGAR TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1400M

Blue Ray	Near 900 metres, BLUE RAY (Neeraj Rawal) clipped behind by the heels of ENCOURGEMENT (Shailesh Shinde) and stumbled. BLUE RAY (Neeraj Rawal) was held up for a clear run between 600 metres and 400 metres while racing on the inside of PINE CREST (I. Shaikh). Passing 400 metres, BLUE RAY (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out to make his move and in the process hampered the running of PINE CREST (I Shaikh). Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Schwarzenegger	At the start, STARFALL (Zameer Sayyed) veered out to the outside, losing ground. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race the gelding.
Pine Crest	PINE CREST (I.Shaikh) jumped out slowly, losing about a length at the start.
Encouragement	After the race, SURAJ and ENCOURAGEMENT were found to be sound. ENCOURAGEMENT had an abrasion on the left hind coronet and right hind bulb of heel and BLUE RAY had an abrasion on the left hock.

3	(207)	THE VENUS ARISING TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1200M

Chingari	At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, CHINGARI was examined on the race day (11/10/2009) 2009 at 0930 hours and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Golden Memory(O)	App. Shammi Khan (GOLDEN MEMORY) has been cautioned for failing to continue making an effort till past the post. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined 1000/ for taking his charge GOLDEN MEMORY away from the paddock before All Clear was given.
Sharp Memory	Jockey Shailesh Shinde (SHARP MEMORY) has been fined Rs.3000/ for dropping his hands near the winning post thereby losing his 4th place.
Onus Probandi	After the race, ONUS PROBANDI, CASUAL LOOK and SEA SHOWER. ALASKA had an abrasion on the left hind coronet and SHARP MEMORY had lost its right fore plate.

4	(208)	THE PUNE POLICE COMMISSIONER`S TROPHY TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1200M

Mohabbi	At the request of Trainer Asad Siddiqui, MOHABBI was examined on the race day (11/10/2009) at 1030 hours and was found to have painful swelling of the left commissure of the mouth. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Tag Along Tommy	The Sr. VO reported that on arrival at the start, JALSA reared up fell on his left hind quarters. On examination, the gelding was found to be unfit to race. Also, on arrival at the start, EXCELLTASTIC (D.A.Naik) was examined at the request of the Jockey and found to be sore by the left hind leg, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race. Both the horses were withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. EXCELLTASTIC has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Oh Calcutta	After the race, OH CALCUTTA was observed to have an abrasion on the left fore fetlock.
Mia Stella	JALSA (J.Pradeep) behaved erratic on the way to the starting gate. MIA STELLA (Amyn Merchant) was reluctant to be stalled and BLACK RAINBOW (C.Rajendra) was restless and not allowing its rider to mount. As such, Trainers Hosidar Daji and Mansoor Shah have been asked to show their respective charges, JALSA & BLACK RAINBOW to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race and Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to give his charge MIA STELLA more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
River Dragon	Trainer SK Sunderji has been fined Rs.1000/ for not using the Chifney bit on his charge RIVER DRAGON after have received the intimation for its use.
Always Smile	At the start, ALWAYS SMILE (SP Ranjane) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside and went on to DRAMA QUEEN (Nirmal Jodha) who shifted in and was awkwardly placed behind the heels of SINE QUO NON (Neeraj Rawal) and was checked.
Ijlal	IJLAL (Zameer Sayyed) luggedout during the race. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

5	(209)	THE INDICTMENT TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1400M

Weizhou	WEIZHOU (S.Sunil) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the race, RED INDIAN and WEIZHOU were found to be sound and CALL TO ARMS had a gum injury.
Agha	Approaching 400 metres, AGHA (App. D. S. Rathore) shifted in and went on to JACQELINE (M. Narredu) who in turn shifted in and tightened SECRET PILGRIM (Nirmal Jodha) along the rails. As a result, OYSTER PRINCESS (D. K. Ashish) who was following the SECRET PILGRIM (Nirma Jodha) was checked. App.D. S. Rathore has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

Calypso Queen	CALYPSO QUEEN (Suraj Narredu) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Bemisaal	BEMISAAL (App. S. Zervan) luggedin during the race. The gelding shiftedin in spite of jockey’s effort and hampered the running of STEP BY STEP (S. Sunil) in the last 200 metres.
River Divine	After the race, BEMISAAL, RIVER DIVINE, HOUDINI and WHITE HART LANE were found to be sound. WHITE HART LANE coughed during veterinary examination. CALYPSO QUEEN had a bleeding injury on the left hock and shank.
Houdini	Jockey J. Pradeep (HOUDINI) reported that his mount was inclined to lugout in the straight. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
American Idol	After the race, AMERICAN IDOL and AURARIA were observed to go short by the right fore leg and left fore leg respectively. Both the horses have to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting.

7	(211)	THE NOSHIR & DOLLY DHUNJIBHOY SPRINT MILLION TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1200M

Schnell(O)	As the gates opened, SCHNELL (Imran Chisty) stumbled and dislodged its rider. However, the Jockey escaped unhurt and was certified fit to ride in the future races of the day, by the Club’s M.O. After the race, ESCRAVOS, IL DIVO and SCHNELL were found to be sound. ESCRAVOS had a cut injury on the left hind pastern and canon, IL DIVO had an abrasion on the left hock, LAGO MEDIO had a gum injury and SCHNELL had an abrasion on both the hind fetlock.
Escravos	ESCRAVOS (K.P.G.Appu) was placed fifth and BEYOND BELIEF (Suraj Narredu) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Amberogio	AMBEROGIO (App.Ishwar Pardeshi) was reluctant to be stalled. Since the mare had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer S.Mangalorkar has been asked to show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in a mock race, before next accepting to race. At the start, AMBEROGIO (Ishwar Pardeshi) missed the kick and was slow to begin and as the gelding regained balance, it shifted in and made contact with OYSTER PEARL (DK Ashish).

8	(212)	THE NANOLI STUD PUNE DERBY (GR.1) TERMS - 3 years old only	2000M

Versaki	Jockey C Rajendra (VERSAKI) was observed to have used his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Since this was the third offence with regard to the use of the whip, the matter was reported to the Stewards. Further, Jockey C Rajendra was observed to have used the whip in an improper manner. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next meeting of the Stewards.
Cabriolet	Two objections were lodged in this race. The first objection was lodged by Jockey M.Narredu, the rider of CABRIOLET, pl.2nd) against Jockey C.Rajendra (VERSAKI, pl.1st). The reason being after passing the 700 metres, he was off the fence and VERSAKI came on him and bumped his horse due to which his horse lost balance and ground and again in the last 50 metres, VERSAKI drifted out and hampered his running, due to which he lost a certain race. The second objection was lodged by Capt.Jamshed Appo, part owner of CLASSERVILLE (Wayne Smith, placed 4th) against Jockey C.Rajendra (VERSAKI, pl.1st) for coming on to him near 300 metres and tightening his horse and later on taking his ground, causing his horse to lose a few strides.
Classerville	After interviewing the all concerned and viewing the video recording of the incidents, the Stewards resolved to overrule both the objections. However, the Stewards found Jockey C.Rajendra guilty of careless riding for causing interference to CLASSERVILLE. This matter has been deferred to the next meeting of the Stewards.
Mighty Crusader	MIGHTY CRUSADER (Nirmal Jodha) was placed fifth and RED DRAGON (Y.S.Srinath) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
First Empire	The Sr. VO reported that FIRST EMPIRE was observed after the race to go short by the left fore leg due to a clip injury at the left fore bulb of heel. Further, the gelding had an abrasion on the right hind pastern.

9	(213)	THE F.A. & K.A.IRANI TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1000M

Scenic Silver	At the start, SCENIC SILVER (C.Rajendra) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside and at the same time PHOSPHER (App.N.S.Parmar) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and made contact with each other.
Sea Of Kisses	SEA OF KISSES (Imran Chisty) luggedin badly in the straight. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.
Hymns To Freedom	HYMNS TO FREEDOM (Suraj Narredu) lugged out in the straight. Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha has been asked to remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Check Her Out	Shortly after the start, CHECK HER OUT (S Sunil) lugged out and went on to CRÈME DE LA CRÈME (App.Shrikant Kamble) which caused a chain reaction, wherein CRÈME DE LA CRÈME went on to HYMNS TO FREEDOM (Suraj Narredu) who went on to SCENIC SILVER (C.Rajendra). At the same time, App NS Parmar (PHOSPHER) guided his mount inwards and went across SCENIC SILVER (C.Rajendra), causing it to be checked by its Rider, and then went across CRÈME DE LA CREME and later took the running of CHECK HER OUT. App NS Parmar has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. In the final 200 metres, CHECK HER OUT (S Sunil) shifted in and took the running of HIGHLAND WARRIOR (R.Shelar) who clipped the hind heels of CHECK HER OUT and fell, dislodging the Rider and in the process EL BUNDUQ was disturbed in its running as its Rider took evasive action. Jockey S Sunil was reported to the Stewards for Dangerous Riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.
El Bunduq	Jockey KPG Appu (EL BUNDUQ) reported that his mount was uncomfortable in the race. S. VO was requested to examine the gelding and he reported that no abnormality was detected.

10	(214)	THE ASHWAMEDHA TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	2000M

Royal Bella	Near 1500 meters, ROYAL BELLA (App. D. S. Rathore) stopped galloping and did not finish the race. After the race, ROYAL BELLA was observed to go short by the right hind leg. The filly has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting.
Desert Dynamite	After the race, DESERT DYNAMITE was found to be sound.
Forever Amber	At the request of Jockey Imran Chisty, his mount FOREVER AMBER was resaddled.
Benedictus	BENEDICTUS (App.S.Zervan) played up in the stall. FOREVER AMBER and BENEDICTUS were examined by the Club’s Sr. VO and certified fit to race. Trainer P.Shroff has been asked to give his charge BENEDICTUS more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
