MiraeAfter the race, MIRAE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race
Moment Of MadnessAfter the race, App Ramswarup (MOMENT OF MADNESS) reported that his saddle on his mount had slipped soon after the start. On being questioned whether he had informed the Trainer about the same, he replied in the negative. Subsequently on questioning, Trainer Rehanullah Khan stated that after the race App. Ramswarup had failed to report the saddle slip and expressed his displeasure with his riding. The Stipendiary Stewards are looking into the same and a report will be submitted shortly.
Youre GorgeousYOURE GORGEOUS (V. R. Jagadeesh, dr.6) took an awkward fly jump at the start and lost considerable ground. Further, the horse was observed to have trailed the field. As such, Trainer B. Prithviraj has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the race, YOURE GORGEOUS & SAMSON were trotted and found to be sound.
High SpiritHIGH SPIRIT (App. Avinash Paswan, dr.7) threw its head at the start and veered out thereby losing considerable ground. Considering the mare was ridden by App. Avinash Paswan and this was the Apprentice’s first ride, the Stipendiary Stewards are looking into the same and a report will be submitted shortly. However, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show his charge to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race. After the race, HIGH SPIRIT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore. As such the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

2 (46) THE MYSORE RACE CLUB TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE		 2000M

Regal CommandOn a request from Trainer Karthik Ganapathy, REGAL COMMAND was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 10:00 a.m. on 16th August 2025 at the stables and was found to have a painful swelling on both fore bulb of heels. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race, was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Ruling DynastyAfter the race, RULING DYNASTY was trotted and found to be sound.

3 (47) THE JANARDHAN SALVER
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 1400M

FinchThe Equine Hospital reported that FINCH had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer.
BelieveBELIEVE (Mukesh Kumar, dr.6) was observed to have stumbled at the start. After the race, BELIEVE was observed to have an injury on its left hind fetlock.
EmpowerApproaching 400 metres, YOU (App. Aditya Waydande) and EMPOWER (T. S Jodha) were observed to have jostled amongst themselves. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey’s App. Aditya Waydande and T. S. Jodha have been fined Rs.1,000/ each.
Howlin WolfSoon after the start, KEY LARGO (Prashant P. Dhebe) shifted in at the same time HOWLIN WOLF (N. S. Parmar) shifted out and they made contact.
YouAt the start, YOU (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.9) jumped inwards and made contact with AR FIRST STAR (V. R. Jagadeesh, dr.8) Approaching 400 metres, YOU (App. Aditya Waydande) and EMPOWER (T. S Jodha) were observed to have jostled amongst themselves. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey’s App. Aditya Waydande and T. S. Jodha have been fined Rs.1,000/ each.
WindborneAfter the race, App. Ramswarup (WINDBORNE) reported that his mount was erratic throughout the race. Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Key LargoKEY LARGO (Prashant P. Dhebe, dr.5) took an awkward jump at the start. Soon after the start, KEY LARGO (Prashant P. Dhebe) shifted in at the same time HOWLIN WOLF (N. S. Parmar) shifted out and they made contact.
Ar First StarAt the start, YOU (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.9) jumped inwards and made contact with AR FIRST STAR (V. R. Jagadeesh, dr.8) After the race, AR FIRST STAR was observed to have an injury on its right hind coronet.

4 (48) THE SU CHALIYO PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (3 year old maidens only)		 1200M

BezalelOn a request from Trainer Karthik Ganapathy, BEZALEL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 10:00 a.m. on 16th August 2025 at the stables and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race, was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Timeless FortuneTIMELESS FORTUNE (Yash Narredu, dr.2) was marginally slow to begin and jumped inwards. After the Race ,an objection was lodged by Jockey C. Umesh rider of EL MORAN placed second by the judge against Jockey Yash Narredu rider of TIMELESS FORTUNE placed first by the judge, reason being “In the last 200 metres, the winner came in sharply and bumped me twice thereby losing my stride and causing my horse to stumble whereby I could have fallen and ruined my race”. The Stewards having heard the submissions made by both Jockeys and having watched the replay of the race on the CCTV, in conjunction with the Stipendiary Stewards and acting on their own observations of the race decided to overrule the objection and the order of placing remained unchanged. However, the Stewards held Jockey Yash Narredu guilty of careless riding on his mount TIMELESS FORTUNE, due to a lack of quorum after the last race, the matter has been deferred.
El MoranAfter the Race ,an objection was lodged by Jockey C. Umesh rider of EL MORAN placed second by the judge against Jockey Yash Narredu rider of TIMELESS FORTUNE placed first by the judge, reason being “In the last 200 metres, the winner came in sharply and bumped me twice thereby losing my stride and causing my horse to stumble whereby I could have fallen and ruined my race”. Fourth WingJockey Yash Narredu (FOURTH WING) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Pune Meeting 2025, he has been fined Rs.3,000/.
Money BagsApproaching the 200 metres, MONEY BAGS (Antony Raj S.) lost its footing and stumbled. After the race, MONEY BAGS was trotted and found to be sound.
BishopBISHOP had right eye injury (sore).
MatisseMATISSE had both eye injuries (sore).
Social ButterflyFrom the 200 metres, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY (A. Sandesh) was observed to have maintained an erratic course thereby tightening and inconveniencing DARCY (Vivek G.) racing along the rails on more than one occasion. After the race on questioning, Jockey A. Sandesh stated that his mount leanedin despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.
DarcyFrom the 200 metres, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY (A. Sandesh) was observed to have maintained an erratic course thereby tightening and inconveniencing DARCY (Vivek G.) racing along the rails on more than one occasion. After the race on questioning, Jockey A. Sandesh stated that his mount leanedin despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. After the race, DARCY was observed to have an injury on its right hind fetlock.

JacksonIn the final stages of the race JACKSON (A. Sandesh) was observed to have shifted in under pressure and went across TYRANNUS (P. Trevor) causing the latter to be checked. After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh reported that his mount was running green in the final stages of the race. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
TyrannusIn the final stages of the race JACKSON (A. Sandesh) was observed to have shifted in under pressure and went across TYRANNUS (P. Trevor) causing the latter to be checked. After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh reported that his mount was running green in the final stages of the race. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race. After the race Jockey P. Trevor (TYRANNUS) reported that his mount hungin in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race. After the race, CRIMSON PIRATE & TYRANNUS were trotted and found to be sound.
EnforcerENFORCER (Yash Narredu, dr.1) took an awkward jump at the start. After the race Jockey Yash Narredu (ENFORCER) reported that his mount hungin and was running erratically throughout race. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

Crimson PirateOn arrival at the starting gates at the request of App. Kirtish Bhagat, CRIMSON PIRATE was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified him fit to race. Soon after the start, SEINA (C. Umesh) shifted in and made contact with CRIMSON PIRATE (App. Kirtish Bhagat) After the race, CRIMSON PIRATE & TYRANNUS were trotted and found to be sound.

After the race Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe (KEY WEST) reported that his mount was running green in the straight. Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

FalsettoAt the start, FALSETTO (T. S. Jodha, dr.6) leaned inwards and brushed the haunches of LIGHTNING BLAZE (C. Umesh, dr.5). Approaching the 200 metres, ARIYANA STAR (P. Trevor) drifted out under pressure and went across FALSETTO (T. S. Jodha) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs 2,000/.
Lightning BlazeAt the start, FALSETTO (T. S. Jodha, dr.6) leaned inwards and brushed the haunches of LIGHTNING BLAZE (C. Umesh, dr.5).
