1	(73)	THE AL DENTE PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 26 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1000M

Classic Spirit	Passing 200 metres, CLASSIC SPIRIT (A.M. Tograllu) shifted inwards gradually and tightened SUDDEN IMPACT (F.Aaron) on to THE REBEL (Ikram Khan). Jockey A. M. Tograllu has been reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next meeting of the Stewards.
The Rebel (O)	After the race, THE REBEL was observed to have an abrasion on the right fore bulb of heel and CLASSIC SPIRIT had an abrasion right hind fetlock.
Shaktiman(O)	Soon on entering the straight, SHAKTIMAN (S. S. Baria) shifted out and carried SUDDEN IMPACT (F. Aaron) outwards. Jockey SS Baria has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. The Sr.V.O. reported that on examination after the race, SHAKTIMAN was found to have wolf tooth on both the sides of its mouth. The horse had the wolf tooth when it last raced in Race No.32 also, however, Trainer Anil Kumar failed to take corrective measures with his charge. The Stipendiary Stewards will question Tr.Anil Kumar in this regard and a report will be submitted shortly.

2	(74)	THE ZEPHYR BAY PLATE TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1600M

First Empire	Trainer Karthik G. was questioned regarding the comparative performance of his charge FIRST EMPIRE. The Trainer stated that in the previous start the gelding was ridden from the front whereas this time, he had intended to try and keep the gelding covered till as late as possible. He added that he had put the horse in swimming which may have helped the gelding. He further said that the horse ran in a race for maiden horses 3 years old only as compared to a handicap race the previous time. The explanation tendered was noted.
River Pride	Soon on entering the straight, RIVER PRIDE (K.P.G. Appu) luggedin and went on to DIVINE MAJESTY (M. Narredu), causing the filly to be checked on its Rider. Since the gelding had hungin in its previous start, Trainer S. K. Sunderji, has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before the next accepting to race.
Star Alliance	Jockey Suraj Narredu (STAR ALLIANCE) reported that his mount was inclined to run out in the straight. Trainer P Shroff has to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Wilna	After the race, WILNA was found to be sound having an abrasion on the left hind pastern and wolf tooth on both the sides of her mouth. MEGAN FOX had wolf tooth on both the sides of her mouth.

3	(75)	THE CLASSIC STORY TROPHY TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1200M

Premier Connection	Approaching 200 metres PREMIER CONNECTION (Suraj Narredu) was held up for a clear run while racing on the inside of MOHABBI (J.Chinoy).
Sacred Relic	The Tongue Strap on SACRED RELIC (S.S.Baria) snapped and fell on the way to the starting gate. The same was replaced from the Club’s gear. Jockey S. S. Baria was questioned regarding his riding on SACRED RELIC. Jockey Baria stated that he was asked to be well up but the horse did not show speed in the early part of the race and he had to ride from where he found himself and he had ridden out the horse. Considering that it was the maiden run on the horse, no action has been initiated against the Jockey.
Mohabbi	Near 800 metres MOHABBI (J. Chinoy) shifted out and went across the PREMIER CONNECTION (Suraj Narredu) causing the filly was checked by its Rider. Jockey J. Chinoy has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Oh Calcutta	Soon after the start, OH CALCUTTA (Shailesh Shinde) shifted in and carried SEA WARRIOR (Imran Chisty) inwards, who in turn shifted in and tightened PREMIER CONNECTION (Suraj Narredu), who was racing along the rails, for room. Jockey Shailesh Shinde has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Dancing Money	After the race, DANCING MONEY was found to be sound having wolf tooth on both the sides of its mouth.

4	(76)	THE RONIN PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1600M

Tyumen	At the request of Trainer Faisal A.Abbas, TYUMEN was examined on 15/08/2009 at 2045 hours and was found to have discharge from both the nostrils. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Born Special (05)	Jockey K.P.G. Appu (BORN SPECIAL) reported that he was instructed to be well up. However, his horse was loaded early and had to wait in the Gates and possibly due to this, the filly was sluggish out of the Gates and slow into the strides and by that time the filly was covered by other horses and therefore he was unable to follow the instructions. Near 400 metres, BORN SPECIAL (KPG Appu) was tightened for room. Trainer Mrs. Nina M. Lalvani (BORN SPECIAL) has been fined Rs.1000/ for using a ‘D’ bit, for which no prior intimation was received.
Solskjaer	SOLSKJAER (V.Chandrakant) was restless in the stall and stood awkwardly pressing its head against the side platform resulting in its blindfold coming off slowly, as such, the gelding lost about 5 lengths at the start. Trainer Amjad Khan has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race. After the race, SOLSKAJAER was observed to have an abrasion on the left hind coronet and had lost its right hind plate

5	(77)	THE RAJARAM CHHATRAPATI TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86	1800M

Flashing Flame

Passing 600 metres, FLASHING FLAME (Stephane Breux) shifted in and caused HIGHLAND CROWN (Imran Chisty) to shift in, who in turn shifted in and caused interference to ROYAL PANACHE (AM Tograllu). Jockey Stephane Breux has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing the exercise proper control over his mount.

6	(78)	THE PARANJAPE EVE CHAMPION TROPHY (GR.3) TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	2000M

Personified	After the race, PERSONIFIED was observed to have an abrasion on both the bulb of heel on the hind legs and left nostril. PERSONIFIED (B.Prakash) was placed fifth and NITROUS (J.Chinoy) was placed sixth by the Judge.
Riyasat	Near 300 Metres RIYASAT (C. Rajendra) was inclined to shift out and as the Jockey used the whip to correct the filly, she shifted in and went on to MR GREEDY (Neeraj Rawal) who was unbalanced for a few strides. Jockey C. Rajendra (RIYASAT) has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to make sufficient effort to control his mount.
Hugo	Jockey Nirmal Jodha (HUGO) reported that the bit on his mount slipped to the right side soon after the start as he tried to settle his mount.

7	(79)	THE ROYAL PRINCESS PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1400M

Aristocratic	Jockey C Rajendra (ARISTOCRATIC) and App NS Parmar (RISING HERO) have been fined Rs.1000/ each for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on their mounts. After the race, ARISTOCRATIC was found to be sound having wolf tooth on right side of its mouth, SURAJ had an abrasion on the right nostril and FLARING SUN had an abrasion on the right hind coronet.
Calling The Shots	Soon after the start, CALLING THE SHOTS (Stephane Breux) threw its head up and lost ground.

8	(80)	THE GOLFING PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1200M

Monarchos(O)	The saddle on MONARCHOS (C Rajendra) slipped back during the race, as such Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined Rs.2000/ for faulty saddling of his charge. MONARCHOS (C Rajendra) hungin in the straight. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.After the race, MONARCHOS was observed to have an abrasion on right hind shank and RISING PRINCESS had lost its right hind plate.
Super King (O)	SUPER KING (Stephane Breux) threw its head up at the start. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race.
Casual Look	The Sr.V.O. reported that on examination after the race, CASUAL LOOK was found to have wolf tooth on the right side of its mouth. The mare had the wolf tooth when it raced in Race No.22 also, however, Trainer S.K.Sunderji failed to take corrective measures with his charge. The Stipendiary Stewards will question Tr.S.K.Sunderji in this regard and a report will be submitted shortly.
