Il VoloJockey P. Trevor, the rider of IL VOLO reported that his mount gradually drop back from 600 Metres, did not respond to his urgings and he also added that his mount did not relish the relatively hard ground. The trainer corroborated the statements of the Jockey. Their explanations were noted for future reference.
Sienna PrincessJockey A.Ramu, the rider of SIENNA PRINCESS reported that he could not get a clear view between the 1200 Metres to 900 Metres due to a kick back of the track.

AnakinAn enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Darshan R N, the rider of SOLO PRINCE in the above race. In that he shifted “in” sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; SOUTHERN POWER (Salman Khan) and AIR DISPLAY (Koshi Kumar), whereby ANAKIN (Siddaraju.P) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider approaching 900 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ANAKIN.
Solo PrinceIt was observed that Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of SOLO PRINCE had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runner MILLBROOK (Antony Raj S.) passing the 900 Metres. An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Darshan R N, the rider of SOLO PRINCE in the above race. In that he shifted “in” sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; SOUTHERN POWER (Salman Khan) and AIR DISPLAY (Koshi Kumar), whereby ANAKIN (Siddaraju.P) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider approaching 900 Metres. The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Darshan R N with effect from 26/12/2023 to 5/1/2024 (Both days inclusive) as had he pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount SOLO PRINCE (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.

In that he shifted “in” sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; SOUTHERN POWER (Salman Khan) and AIR DISPLAY (Koshi Kumar), whereby ANAKIN (Siddaraju.P) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider approaching 900 Metres.

ForsetiPermission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw FORSETI (P. Trevor) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have tendinosis on right fore. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SantorinoIt was observed that SANTORINO (L. Alex Rozario) accidentally slipped from its hind approaching 500 Metres. SANTORINO (L. Alex Rozario) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g SANTORINO.
YukanIt was observed that YUKAN (Suraj Narredu) accidentally stumbled approaching 800 Metres.

Mazal TovAt the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and enquired into the lead bag coming off from the saddle approaching 900 Metres during the race, whereby the rider weighed ‘in’ 2.5 kgs less in relation to weighing out. The Stewards examined Jockey S. Saqlain, the rider of MAZAL TOV. After detailed deliberations, they decide to disqualify MAZAL TOV which had placed 5th in the above race in accordance with Rule No. 180 of the B.T.C Rules of Racing and the revised order of placings are as under: The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Neil B. Devaney to the Stewards for the negligence in discharge of his duties pertaining to saddling of his charge MAZAL TOV in the above race. Wherein the lead bag came off from the saddle approaching 900 Metres during the race, whereby the rider weighed ‘in’ 2.5 kgs less in relation to weighing out resulting in the horse been disqualified for the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 16/12/2023 and interviewed Trainer Mr. Neil B. Devaney, after deliberations, they decided to fine Trainer Mr. Neil B. Devaney a sum of Rs.20,000/ for faulty saddling of his charge MAZAL TOV for Contravention of Rule Nos. 166 (b) and 114 (b) (i) of the B.T.C Rules of Racing.

Southern ForceJockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SOUTHERN FORCE was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting out and causing interference to SHEER BLISS (Siddaraju.P) on his outside soon after the start. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SOUTHERN FORCE.
OxytocinJockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of OXYTOCIN was fined Rs.5,000/ for travelling wide from 1000 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason.
Phoenix SurpriseJockey Inayat, the rider of PHOENIX SURPRISE was fined Rs.10,000/ for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. He was further cautioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas that the repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards.
Indian BluesJockey Antony Raj S., the rider of INDIAN BLUES reported that his mount was inclined to run out from 900 Metres till about 600 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Sunway LagoonJockey Naveen M., the rider of SUNWAY LAGOON was fined Rs.2,000/ for checking his mount between 1100 Metres to 1000 Metres for no apparent reason.
Sheer BlissJockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SOUTHERN FORCE was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting out and causing interference to SHEER BLISS (Siddaraju.P) on his outside soon after the start. Paradise BeckonsPARADISE BECKONS (Rayan Ahmed R.) was examined at the saddling enclosure and was found to be lame on left fore due to tendinosis. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Sling ShotJockey Vivek, the rider of SLING SHOT was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
EstefaniaESTEFANIA (S. John) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
